I was wondering if its possible I can be getting a little dizzy from vaping off a fresh wick ? I noticed the first day I used my evod I got dizzy and then this morning I got a little dizzy when using my brand new clear 16. Its not too much nicotine because it seems to only happen when I use a brand new tank/wick. 4th day vaping n analog free

Quit zits, severely tired, and I mean fall asleep driving tired even after sleeping all night till noon thirty.
I am perplexed that I never coughed up any lung scum, actually I am really dumbfounded that quitting
was so easy, ONLY because of vaping. I NEVER EVER would have been able to quit if it weren't for vaping.
And last night, I had an itchy reaction to vaping I suppose. I have quite a bit of toys and liquids for such
a new vaper girl, and I've mixed up all kinds of flavors to please my palate, so singling out the culprit isn't
easy this morning; but I will. I'll get to the bottom of it.

Wow didn't expect that many responses in such few hours ha.. I didn't really think about side effects of quitting smoking, more just the benefits like easier breathing, whiter teeth, being able to smell again. As I said I've only been vaping for a month and halfish and i've had no problems at all.
I tried alsorts to quit smoking, from the tablets to cold turkey and this has been the easiest far by none, I hardly ever crave and I'm even getting out of smoking analogs when I drink now (It just didnt seem to cut it at first when I was drunk.).

I can't understand why recently (in the UK) that the media have been trying to discredit e-cigs when from the looks of things 99.9% of people have had such an outstanding experience with using them to quit smoking. Whoever invented these cool little contraptions needs a medal!

I won't be turning back :)

I just started vaping about 4 days ago so I am still new to this. I haven't smoked a cigarette since. The only thing I have noticed is I itch all the time. My husband started the same time I did and he hasn't had any itching. I feel like there is stuff crawling on me. I am not sure if it is the vapor or effects of no cigarettes. On the plus side, I have noticed that I feel like I can breath better.

It is mind-blowing that governments would prefer you smoke than vape. But the simple fact is that tobacco is a huge industry. From the farmers to the cig makers, to the healthcare industry, all of this big business propped up by smoking. And big business means big lobbyists.

Hey, Bunnykiller, who said that juice doesn't steep but ages? :/
Mine still steeps since I started making it in 2012 (not the same juice, obviously. lol.)
and will do so till I get a good reason for ageing and not steeping it!
No offense to you, just to the "ageing" freak ;)

Apart from reading loads of illogical statements on various forums, smelling stuff that now stinks, and didn't before, and having a newly found illness called shinyitis, and its equivalent for buying juice making gear, not coughing up half my lungs in the morning, and a slight weight gain (but I think that's due more to "age" than vaping), having my local tobacconist looking at me with hatred, I've not noticed any MAJOR changes...Oh yes, I've got into signing petitions left, right and center, in the hope that I'll still be vaping in freedom in a few years time. I forgot that, but it is very important.
You see my friend and I, both smokers for around 40+ years had to stop, as he developed emphysema. The lung doctor said stop or it's your funeral.
So we both got into vaping. It's made his breathing almost normal again, and he doesn't have attacks any more. The first week on patches was HELL!!! For me, as he was insupportable, and not too easy for him either.
But the Ecig came to the rescue, and I liked them so much, as well as it being easier at 2, that I gave up too.
For my friend, I'd say that vaping saved his life... :D

PS I forgot this one, not on purpose, really, but I've stopped snoring apparently. Not that I've ever heard that I did snore, so it's 2nd hand news, really ;)

Probably because a new wick works better than a gunked up older one, so you get a better hit off it. Hence more vapor getting to you. If you changed wicks every day you could cut down your Nic intake :D lol only joking, but don't worry ;)

Colwellji...that sounds weird! Look up to see if it's a "quit smoking" reaction, or maybe a PG allergy, or...maybe it'll just go away after a bit on its' lonesome... ;)

Been vaping for about a year and have had absolutely no negative effects. The ONLY thing i have even heard that is a possibility of vaping that would harm you in some way is that I have heard through the grapevine that in colder climates you have a higher chance of getting amonia because, after all, you are inhaling water vapor of sorts. I live in chicago and spend a lot of time in the north woods and have had no experience with this (and I have no idea if its even true) but just wanted to share what I have heard

Not a side effect, per se, but my contacts out quickly. I know it's prob from dehydration ( I guess) because I used to go months with same old pair but now I might get a week or less out of a pair. I'm gonna switch to daily wear so at the end of the day I knows that I can just dump them and start anew the next day.
My throat is sometimes a little sore in the morning depending on how long I chain vape before going to bed the previous night while surfing the 'net but it clears up once I get moving (and start vaping again). Again prob dehydration issue. I'm gonna get one of those Camelback water jugs this week in hopes of being inclined to drink more water

I can relate to your post. I am still amazed that I am not smoking. I never thought it would happen after smoking heavily for over 40 years! I keep waitng for a terrible craving or urge to come upon me - but nothing. Nearly two months now, and no urges whatsoever to smoke a cigarette.

I'm also one who has not coughed or done the "lung clearing" thing, which I was expecting since I smoked so long. I'm not at all complaining, just perplexed a little like you are. I had a pretty bad morning cough, and it just totally disappeared within a day or so of starting vaping. Also, after an especially long day, if I stayed up late and kept smoking, when I went to bed, I could hear myself wheezing a little. That frightened me, and it, too, has totally gone. Left with the cough!

So far, all I have is positives and more positives. I am thrilled and very happy with my vaping experience. And, also grateful to all the very helpful folks here who have made this adventure such fun!:)
