Anyone have a manual ego that has a cutoff?

Yea, brand new manual ego, has cutoff after about 7 seconds. Thought it ment the battery was dieing but no. Full charge.

Thoughts? I'm not to happy about it. It is a Janty.

On mine the LED button (which is also the activation button) flashes when its about to die and needs a recharge but thats about it - I'd contact Janty about it - they have a long warranty on their products I beileve?

Hi,
All of my Janty eGo's which have the manual button have a 17 second cutoff. Even the new battery with the USB charging in the front of battery.
R you sure it is a 7 second cutoff?

12 seconds for mine, was just guessing 7 seconds. Do yours flash or just turn off? mine flashes.

Mine is somewhere around 12 or 13 seconds.

It's 14 seconds. The light begins to blink at 12. If I were you I would contact Janty and ask for one with a longer cut off.

Mine just turns off. I let go of the button and can press it on again right away, no delay.

You just can't ask and get one with a longer cutoff. There has to be a problem with the battery to get an exchange.

I think Son just meant that if he doesn't like the default cut-off, he could request a customized one with a longer cut-off time.

all I know is mine puts out more than enough to make me cough my head off before I ever get to the 12 seconds But yeah, it would be nice if none of them had cutoffs, like mods. I guess if the button would stick it might come in handy
