I've ordered a LT and believe it is inexpensive enough to warrant a try. My initial impulse was to purchase the Provari but I've decided to "get my feet wet" so to speak with variable voltage mods by starting out with the LT. I think it will prove to be worthwhile purchase and does come with a one year warranty and from what I've witnessed Volcano support it pretty good and they have a pretty active forum. Some seem to love it some seem to not...about like anything else. I'd read the reviews and see what current owners think to make an educated decision of course.

I've had my LT for a few weeks now and just ordered a silver LT a couple of days ago. If that says anything. Though, it does have it's limitations with the 2.5amp resistance, but..... there are some great combos that can be used with it. My favorite, right now, is the V-atomizer (volcano) in a DCA. That maxes out @ 5.7v and it's a 3ohm 306.
