I was expecting lasers and metal and lights and thrusters and..... looks more like varigated ebony wood.. probably an all resin case...
It's a stabilzed wood case. Looks, i agree it looks like resin but for $179 it better wash my truck.[emoji6]

$125 at fasttech. An extra $80 for the stab wood case is pricy IMO.

No, Tonee, I don't have one of those yet. Or, ever. Yes, it's very pretty but I'm sure any wood mod around me (dat's what she said) would have to be thoroughly oiled, on regular occasions.... I live in the hottest neck of the cactuses! Also, that price tag is insane!
That said, it looks beautiful and I hope you enjoy it greatly!

For stabilized wood, it's a knockout. However, more importantly, how does it stand up to excessive smoke and ash fall?
Tonee N, I didn't need to know that. I winced the other day buying a Nauti Atlantis starter kit, to have a backup Naut 2 tank and stick mod that was easy to carry around.... No wonder everyone's going nuts about Smok products, then. That makes more sense, now. But, we were talking like $60 bucks, and I agonized, and agonized.
I don't want to buy a $300 mod, though I understand I may have to towards the end of deeming regs coming out.... Soon enough to get it, but inexpensive enough to manage my household expenses. I did spend quite a bit on nic vape though. Thank goodness I love puny MTL tanks that really don't push my mod, heh.

I could spend that much if I wanted too, I just...won't. I can't stand the thought of paying several hundred dollars for something when I know I can get a device that will work for me for substantially less money. I did grab a kit that turns my NaughtyX into a RTA/RTDA/squonker tank if I want to. I can mess around with coils on that. I'm pretty set with three devices that I paid about $20 for and a box mod that I bought almost two years ago for around $50.
