Triton 2 is ancient by today's standards. I can't even find replacement coils any longer. It was a relatively low wattage tank. There's a thread around here for compatible coils, with about 20 different tanks/coils. I don't own one, but see good reviews for the SuperTank Mini by Tobeco which uses the same coils.

That depends on what you want out of it. It is a jack of all trades type tank. Can be used for MTL or DTL vaping depending on the coil used and the air flow settings used plus of course wattage.

Don't think it is competition for the baby beast. Different animals. Most people probably use the RBA in the subtank as that is more flexible and better flavor.

The Triton and Tobecco ST and the Eleaf Mello all are compatible.. the EC coils for the Mello are everywhere due to the popularity of the Pico kit. You should be able to find them in most local vape shops or online shops.

I think a flexible tank can be great if you aren't sure what type of vaping you want to do. It's also nice to have a tank that can take different manufacturer's coils, as you never know when one manufacturer may stop making coils for the tank, something to consider.... I hear good things about the EC coils, a lot of folks like them. I haven't gotten a tank that takes them yet, however....

The uwell crown is a fabulous tank. They have a 1.2 coil,I think, or 1.4, one of the two, which is good at low wattage. I use the .5 coils which last forever and provide great flavor and vapor. I use it at about 40-55 watts so it's still pretty low. The tank never leaks it just works. Holds 4ml so it has decent capacity and ecigdotcom has 4-packs of coils for around $10. The .5 coils are ss also so they work in both watts and tc. I can't compare to the baby beast because I've never used it but this tank would compare favorably against any tank.

The Triton 0.4Ohm SS coil is one of my flavor reference coils and works great for TC. There are a lot of tanks that can use the coil.

The Triton 2 is a very nice, albeit older, tank. It's clouds won't match the Smok stuff but they can't touch it on flavor. It has a slick fill system that will automatically close the juice ports for filling. Doesn't leak, all. An all time favorite of mine.

Yeah, it's really good, and I can't find replacements here in Toronto, or China. I had 3, now down to 1.

Can you actually get your top cap back on fully? Mine were all faulty, till I moved the o-ring up.

Per finding coils- there are plenty online and on the boat. At a glance, Fasttech has them and plenty on eBay (US). I picked up a supply of 40 for about $1/coil recently. They're worth keeping around.

Per O-rings on the Triton 2 tank: I have 4 of them and never had an issue but glad it was an easy fix
