I have the joye 510 passthrough, $5 less, which I am very happy with. While I use mostly ego batteries, I am not using any ego-only attachments so it works very well for me. It has an inline battery to keep me vaping for a while if I need to unplug it. I think I am probably better off that it doesn't have a cord that unplugs from the battery, like the ego pass through, since I tend to fidget with it a lot. I am sure I will eventually break it this way, just maybe not as quickly.

I just got mine today, from liberty flights. Its described as the Joye eGo 650mAh Pass-Through Battery Manual. I also just got my ego today, also, so the passthrough is all i've tried so far. It is MONDO convenient, though. I'm curious as to what the expected life of these things is personally, as i can't think of a reason to use a standard battery with this passthrough as an option, and dont wanna kill the poor thing with overuse! ;) Being brand new to the concept of a 'pass through' battery, i didn't realize it had a handy dandy cord that could be disconnected if i want to walk away from the computer for a while without switching whole battery. Handy!

I have the 650ma passthrough. Love it! Use it connected to the computer in the evenings and unplug in the morning. Fully charged lasts me all day (that may be different when I get my lr cartos in). If i'm in the car an extended amount of time I can just plug to the cig lighter and vape away, knowing I'll have a fully charged battery when I get where I am going.

It is about 3/8in longer than a standard 650ma batt but my large hands welcome the extra length. Usb plug feels sturdy and secure. Any individual batteries I get for the ego in the future will have this option. Looking at some of the other "passthrough" designs, this setup is more a battery which can be "charged while in use" than it is a "passthrough" (a way to directly power the ecig with a cord).

I have an Ego 650 PT and really like it. The vaper and flavors I use seem to have a more consistant taste using it with the USB port. The one thing I don't really like is that the USB port that connects to the Eco is L shaped rather than straight like it is at the computer end. This becomes a small problem with me when I use Joyetech Ego cartos because the whistletips don't always line up with the button on the PT.

I have the Volcano Inferno and am very happy with the pass through that comes with that kit. With the 1000mah and pass through, most people should have enough to get through the day.I keep my pass through at the computer so it's always charged, take it on the go when needed. If it's an issue for you,the plugs on both ends of the pass thorough are straight.
