I've tried the Fruit Loops and Skittles - both are dead on (and sweet). I think I ran them at 15% and may go down a little. Snickers is next.

No steeping required either...

is the skittles more sweet or sour? I tried a "limeberry" juice in the past, and the lime was disgusting, so now im trying to avoid flavors with a lot of lime.

Messed around with the sweet tobacco a little more, I was thinking I had tasted this somewhere before, fired up a bit of this in my rda, and then a litlle Smooth criminal. Ahlusion Smooth Criminal, has this exact flavor to it, my taste buds aren't the best, but if you like Smooth Criminal, this seems to me to be a great base for a clone.

Skittles is more of a sweet flavor. I don't get any sour notes from it or the original candy it mimics. The best way to describe the flavor you get from the vape is to get a bag of the candy, get a small handful and pop them in your mouth all at once. In doing this, the lemon/lime do tend to pull through more and the vape is the same way.

It's not a nasty lemon/lime, but you do get those notes upfront. The worst lime I've had is from TFA and that's what I have to compare the flavor to; it's nothing like TFA's lime at all. TFA's lime became almost rancid to me after less than 4-5 days. I couldn't even vape it. The lime in Skittles is more light and airy than anything.

Hi folks,

Whipped through the thread as fast as I could so maybe missed a post or two, but has anyone tried out their Make Your Own Flavor deal?

I figure I'll email them & ask if you get your money back if it turns out your flavour ideas can't be done due to safety. (I'd like to make bizzare flavours like lawn clippings, but it turns out the flavour compound may not be so great for inhalation - thanks MarkyD from another post!)

[A bit later: I sent 'em a mail, &'ll report back when I get a reply]

As far as I know, the create your own flavor option is there to allow you to combine existing flavors to create your own blend. For instance, we'll use something common like Snickers, which would be a blend of peanut butter, chocolate and caramel. You would give them that type of information and the percentages of each and they go to work blending the flavor for you.

So if you wanted Coconut Mojito, you'd tell them to blend Coconut + Mojito and let them know how much of each should be blended in the final product and then they send you the 60ml/2oz bottle of your flavoring.

I'll have to ask Mike to confirm this, but that would be my guess as to how it works based off the information on-site. If they had to bring in a specific flavor or combination of flavors, such as those to mimic lawn clippings (yeah, I'll admit, that'll be one odd flavor :)), then I'd see the cost as being significantly higher and there would be more room for error as taste is too subjective there.

Either way, I don't think they would provide a refund whether you liked the flavor or not due to the time the goes into creating your mix. If it wasn't doable at all, then they may, but you're paying for a mixing service from the looks of it.

Ok, good to know about the EM I didn't realize it had that affect. Thanks!

EM - is a must have for me . It goes in a lot of my juices
It takes the "bite" or sharp edges out and blends the flavors.
I only use 1 drop in 3 to 5ml...not enough to "mute" the flavor.
I do not use it as a sweetener, because 1 drop will not sweeten.
It brings richness and moistness to the juice.
If I want to sweeten a juice I use a sweetener designed to do that.
Make up a couple of 3ml juices the exact same way, then add 1 drop of EM to one of them, and hide them for a couple of weeks.
Then do a taste test between the two and see what you think.
It may not do anything in your opinion, or you may notice the difference, then you can make your own decision about it.

Thanks for that Slots. Last night I made up 10 different juices from two different vendors. I made up 4 from One on One, 5 from Jungle and 1 from Hangsens. I did not add anything to any of the juices other than the basic flavoring. If I decide to add EM or other additive to them later, would I need to let them steep more? ie if I add an acid or sweetener.

Very excited to see the results. My buddy Kemosabe hooked me up with some Sweet Tart and some rainbow sherbert. I only got the sherbert tonight will make that tomorrow, but the sweet tart is DEAD on.

I would rather spend 52 bucks on flavorings than spend 40 bucks more at Halo for only 60ml of juice. I just can't pay full prices anymore when I have legit good clones and REALLY good DIY's of my own now.

Since you have already made them, let it go for now.
You may like them as they are.
I would test them first, and then decide if you want to "tweak" them.

I use Lemon juice (yep, the bottle that looks like a little lemon ) in my fruits
I use vape wizard or apple cider vinegar in my tobaccos, chocolates, dark type juices.
I use EM to blend, add moisture, and merge the flavors any flavors.
I also use TFA Smooth (under tobacco listings) with any flavors.
Smooth has no flavor on it's own, but adds a "body" background to fruits and brings them together.
I also use Acety Pyrazine (TFA) in tobaccos and any bakery juice.
It brings out the bakery type flavor and adds a nutty flavor. Great w/RY4's

These are all "additives" and used in very small amounts, (like a drop in 3-5ml), but each does it's own thing to the PH of the juice.
You don't combo them in a juice, you pick the one that you feel will make the improvement your looking for, after deciding "it needs something"

You can add sweetner anytime, but if you use any of the others, I'd give them some time to work,
and shake'm each time you go past them.

I stay about 4 weeks ahead of myself, so all my juices have time to steep and do their thing
It's easier for me, as I've been at it for a while, and pretty much know what to add to what to suit me.
Even if it's a new recipe, I'm making a test bottle of, I add my own touches in the beginning.
At least I don't have to redo and tweak 3 or 4 times anymore.
You'll get there, but all of the ones I mentioned can help it become a "keeper" recipe.

One more hint ... when you find a juice you like and want to keep on hand, try this.
When it's down to about a ml left in the bottle ... make it again, and put it into the same bottle with what's left.
For some unexplained reason (to me) it acts as "seed" and the steep time is cut way back.
But it's just as easy to make 2 bottles of it at a time, and stash one.
When you finish the first one, make more, stash it, and use the one you had "steeping".
That way you always have one ready to go.

OK, it's bed time ... have fun

Butter? Popcorn?

Can you take a picture of the bottle? If not, what color is the flavoring? Is it semi-cloudy? Does it smell like sweet tarts or sweet at all? It definitely shouldn't taste like popcorn or butter, I assure you!

:)

I received my order today and tried some sweet tart but it taste like a butter/popcorn flavor. Kinda sucks because this is the flavor I was most excited for.

thanks for the info tactical. I also tried to email them about the sweet tart flavor I ordered it taste like a butter/popcorn flavor. Is the only way to contact them by phone? I can't seem to find an email address. thanks

it does not smell sweet at all. it definitely smells like butter/popcorn, but I wanted to try it anyways. the smell is so strong that I can still smell it on my fingers after multiple washings. I will attach a pic, but the best camera I have is my phone cam.

00001111.jpg I tried my other flavors which is a mix of strawberry and coconut and it taste pretty good, similar to a flavor called tiger's blood that I bought at the local store.

What % did you use?

I used 8% of the sweet tart flavoring. it doesn't taste anything like sweet tart candy, not even sweet at all.

my order included strawberry, coconut, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, and sweet tart.

all the flavors smell like they should except for the sweet tart.

Sweet Tart should be (prepare for it)...about the color of bright yellow urine. I know this is an odd comparison, but that's what it looks like. Almost neon yellow. If it's not this color, then they most likely had a mix-up and you need to get in touch with them to get them to ship a replacement so you can enjoy the flavor.

If you can PM me your order #, I'll forward it to Mike and have him get in touch with you. You should also be able to get in touch with them via the e-mail used to send the invoice / order confirmation unless it's a no-reply/noreply@ type e-mail. Either way, I'm more than happy to get in touch with him for you.

tactical,

the coloring is more like a darker urine, not neon at all. I replied to the invoice they sent me, but I'm not sure if it is a "no reply" email or not.

edit: I checked my email, and they already replied, it was from a guy named Ivan. That was really quick, I wasn't expecting to hear back from them that fast.

anyways, I am very happy with the customer service, and will definitely order from them again. Any suggestions on other flavors? I'm tempted to try the skittles, creamy caramel, and the pink starburst. have you had experiences with those flavors?

thanks again

*blink* pink... starburst....

OOO Why do you tempt me so!!!

Waiting on that one to come in the mail myself, along with a laundry list of others :) - that one does really excite me though, more so because I love the candy and find myself grabbing a pack every time I'm at the store or gas station.
