Anyone here have severe lower back problems or had a fusion surgery

I have grade 3/4 spondylolisthesis. I know I will have surgery with in the next 3 years. I wanted to know if anyone has/had back problems and had surgery.

Also did your docs have any comments on vaping and the fusion sticking?

DH had a ruptured disk in his neck and they had to fused two disk together but that was years ago and he isn't/wasn't a full time smoker.

I had 2 discs replaced in my neck about a year ago and was smoking +40 cigs per day. Went for a check up recently and the replacement discs have healed perfectly. The doctors I see are hugely in favour of ecigs and are recommending them to their patients.
