Hey, I'm new to the forum, and not yet new to electronic cigarettes. What I mean is that I'm waiting for my Blu starter kit to come in the mail.

First of all, does anyone know the regulations about e-cigs in Japan. I'm a little worried because what I have seen is that the Japanese government is trying to pull the same crap as the FDA in the USA by labeling it as a drug device and banning it.

When I have looked at the companies that sell them in Japan (using Google translator) they all advertise them as not having nicotine.

I have ordered mine, with nicotine, and I am hoping...keeping my fingers crossed...that they don't get stopped at customs or something because they aren't allowed to be in Japan if they have nicotine.

If it does turn out that it's o.k., how are they about smoking them in nonsmoking areas? My plan, now, is to stealth vape when I want to vape in nonsmoking areas...but I'm still curious about how they are about it.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas waiting for them to come in the mail!!!

I am curious to see if you succeed. I was in japan for study abroad in Tokyo and I did not see anyone vaping, but of course, a ton of people smoking cigs. I smoked cigs when I was in Japan and I admit it was a fun experience. Cigs are cheap and they are everywhere and I enjoyed smoking inside. Of course, if i were to go back, I would need to bring my e-cig equipment.

The only e-cig stuff I saw was in a "UFO Catcher" (crane game). I guess you will have to win all your e-cig equipment :D but seriously, it seems that the tobacco industry in Japan is so powerful that e-cigs will have a hard time gaining popularity, despite japan being so technologically advanced and health-conscious.
