Hello, all.
Does anyone know of a really good repair shop or person in or around Rochester, NY?
I am in need of a mod repair of my cherished Tilt mod, which was built before modification and sale at the end of 2010. Two black wires broke at their respective solder beads, I presume, and could be wrong, from removing and reinstalling the door to replace the battery over the years. One wire goes to the 510 connector and one wire goes to the metal bar that the negative battery end sits against.
I know of a couple of places out of state that might be able to repair such a mod, but I don't really trust the P.O. not to lose it or run over the box with their truck. So, if I can find a local repair shop or person, I would be delighted. Face to face would be a plus because of the type of mod this is.
Since I have never had to have a mod repaired before, I'm lost in this area.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I'm heartbroken that my baby has a boo boo.
Many thanks.
P.S. I hope this does not violate any forum policy asking for such assistance: repairs. I looked around and didn't find it would, but if it does, I apologize in advance.
