Okay, I know you guys are going to laugh at my dorky little post here, but here it goes. I vaped off and on for about a year (aerotank and nautilus on a vv eGo or digital stick style) then I quit nicotine totally for about 6 months, got rid of my gear, then... I went back to cigarettes (bad, I know). I have been struggling with quitting the cigs for a couple of months now and I honestly miss the flavor of vaping, and I love the smell when I am around people vaping. I have been tempted by the supplies at my local Walgreens lately but avoided because I am sure it is over-priced (like $45 for a kit that is probably comparable to a crappy generic one I could pick up for like $15 at a vape store? No thanks).

However, tonight I grabbed the Mistic Bridge and I have to say, I am impressed for $10. Has anyone else tried this? It's a tiny little refillable tank that goes on a cigalike battery... I got the tank, battery and charger for $10. Apparently it is bottom-wick and does not have cotton, it looks like a little ceramic wick? But it is very small and I think kinda sleek and classy looking, and hits on draw instead of by button. And the hits are pretty flavorful and smooth. I really dig it. I also picked up some Njoy liquid while I was there, the black/blueberry. I actually dig it A LOT. What I picked up tonight was way better than anything I could find in convenience stores/pharmacies a year or two ago. The downside with the bridge is that you can't replace the coils, you have to buy a whole new tank when the old one quits. tanks are $10, although they are on sale now for $5 so I may pick up a couple. Has anyone heard much about the stuff that is coming out in these kind of stores now? What do you think of the increase in variety and probably quality in these kind of stores? And what do you think of the mistic bridge and njoy liquids?

i'm unfortunately still forced into purchasing "BUCK NAKED" e-liquid at 18mg in either $15/30ml bottles, or $8 10/ml bottles. NOT very cool, if you ask me. IF and WHEN I run out of juice at a time when my vape shop is closed, I'm forced into buying fruit mix, or blueberry BUCK NAKED e-liquid, n it is NOT good, lol. I really wish our gas-stations would stock better e-liquids.... how is anybody going to quit when all they can find for tobacco flavors is Buck Naked US-mix, which literally tastes like a mix of rotten pears, and fermented prunes. -_____- I would LOVE for cumbies or Irving to carry a GOOD e-liquid. but, it seems like I'm the only vaper actually BUYING from them, since they tell me that... I'm the ONLY vaper actually buying from them... lol. They had 3 30ml bottles three trip ago, 2 30ml bottles 2 trips ago, and I just bought their last 30ml bottle last night... in a span of around 3 weeks. So, it doesn't look good. My guess is they wont have NOTHING if i should have to buy from them in the coming weeks... I told them I'd like to see Watermelon, Strawberry, ANYTHING but the nasty Buck Naked Tobacco flavors they used-to have, and this "Fruit-Mix" I've been forced into buying the past few weeks. lol. I really need to get to the vape-shop, but, they keep raising the prices and I can't afford to pay 22 bucks for 30ml of juice! I just cant!

Not really. I only stop at four different convenience stores on a semi-regular basis, and I haven't really noticed any improvement, although I must admit I really don't pay much attention. I tried some of their offerings over the years and wasn't that happy with them.

I have seen sub ohm stick batteries and tanks at quite a few gas stations and truck stops. The Truck stop across from the Heliport I fly out of carried the full line of Njoy juices.
The walgreens near me carry all the njoy flavors but the one I was at tonight only had them in 15 mg, apparently they also come in 10. I'm thinking of picking up the pomegranate. They are $7.99 for 10ml so way pricey, but will hold me over until I can get some "real" juice. Apparently you're not supposed to use high vg in this thing, I think I remember that being advised against in ceramic coils anyway? The njoy liquid first ingredient is glycerin (regular not vegetable?) second is pg so hopefully this doesn't funk up my coil.

Hmmm haven't seen that one, looks like it'd be probably as powerful as something like a ego-t which pretty much got me through my first week or so of quitting.
I can't find any info about the strength of the battery so I charged it fully and I'm just going to wait for it to shut off to see about how long it lasts for me. I'm guessing the tank is about 1ml. I'm thinking of going ahead and buying another "kit" to have a backup. They're so cheap... usually $15 for the kit, $10 for the tank but right now the kits are on sale for $10 and the tanks for $5. My first e-cigarettes were the disposable blu then the rechargeable blu kit, which of course is all overpriced crap. It seemed like for a long time there was only blu around here, then crap liquids with no ingredients lists started appearing.

I haven't paid much attention to the convenience store offerings, but I'm glad they have improved in the past several years. I've no doubt many potential vapors were turned away by their first experiments. At $5 a whack, you might as well pick up a couple.
I think it's great that walgreens is carrying some seemingly decent-quality beginner stuff. Regular convenience stores probably still vary a lot in the quality of their offerings...

According to the directions that came with the mistic bridge, when the tank needs to be changed it just quits making vapor. Not too sure how that all works since I used to change my coils when they started tasting scrappy.

That is slightly interesting ... i had noticed some better NJoy stuff. I've also noticed a lot of it is behind the cashier and I can't see much of anything from that distance ;( .

Some other trends: the term "e-vapor" which I find just odd, and one gas station opened up and initially had no cigarette ads placed at the ends of the pumps, instead they were all vapor and smokeless products! Something like 20 in total.

I like the fact that they call them Personal Vaporizers, take the attachment to cigarettes completely out of the picture.
It hadn't registered with me, but you're right. Smart move on their part.
I know it would be painful, but perhaps ECF needs to consider a re-branding strategy?

I think that's awesome. Anything that gets new folks onto vaping instead of smoking is done by me. I haven't seen the mystic bridge at my convenience stores yet, some cheap tanks I have seen along with big tobacco products like vuse and blu and other cigalikes and some Njoy products.
