anyone offering engraving on mods in uk?

just wondering if anyone has come across a store who can engrave mechanical mods in uk, brother in laws 40th coming up and it would make a great present for him

I get engraving done A LOT. On "Silverware"... sport's trophies especially.

I would ask locally along these lines and be open about what you want to get done. Take the item along and get some quotes.

Some of these craftsmen are brilliant. Some are less good. I can't see how it would be different, unless you want something complex in the "art department".

This is an easy job for any engraver or jeweler. It may not be as pretty, but you can also buy an engraving kit (or engravers for your rotary tool) and do it yourself after a few youtube videos and some test runs.
