Anyone received shipment notification yet?

Just had an interesting thought. The server is down now and Ben indicated earlier that he was not able to check my order status "as easily as me" because he needed to access the server as well to look into the orders. Does that also mean he needs access to the server to process orders? If so that may mean that we all have to wait a while, errors or none.

I thought about that. I wouldn't think so. Hopefully, an invoice prints out when something goes through. I guess we'll see.

The AVE site has hit the level of lame. Not sure I can feel bad for what is happening anymore. This is not spam. I just want to clock them in the head in a kind way and say ... What's up with this... It's Internet's and it's rather simple. Still hope the owners are not spending money on the crap that's happening to them.

even when the sites back up, those of us that were charged but didn't actually get the order in, our out of luck since it seems he's out of stock already. i would think all that time he was offline, he could of been stock piling ingredients, gonna be months again before i can replenish my stuff

Stop complaining. If it's that big of a deal go elsewhere. This is exactly what is wrong with society today. Everyone has to have everything right now.

Can we stick to the purpose of this thread. Like many others I also got charged, but received the authorize.net error. Really curious to see how this pans out and if Ben will fulfill the orders that had the error that he said he would manually check.

If anyone receives shipment notification please give us a heads up.
 
This has nothing to do with a perfect society. They are having issues and people just need to cut them some slack. There are hundreds of other vendors to order from. Do some DIY. It amazes how childish people can act when they don't get s product that they want.

And complaining about people complaining is better? Person A has a grievance with company B (valid or not), why does person C (being you) need to dress down person A? Then if you REALLY want to analyze this conversation, person D (me) complains about the person complaining about the complainer, breaking the very rule he accuses person C of violating. We are all what is wrong with society today.

Yes you are right. This is assuming he is trying to restore his production environment which would be a waste of time as he appears to be waiting for godaddy to prepare his dedicated server. Please see reply to MonsterTKE below.


He could always dump the SQL off the server and load it into a local development site.

Yes you are right. He could restore his MYSQL DB on a local dev environment assuming he has a local dev environment and then he would have to have a DBA/SQL Developer write reports/views/queries to extract the pertinent info from the DB or install/configure his apps (Xcart, JBoss, Websphere, Weblogic etc..) to get access to and log in to retrieve the orders. I don't want to assume but probability is high that he's not a middleware/SQL expert and would have to pay a high $ consultant to do this. See reply to michaelg04 above.



I would bet a 100 ml of Boba's that he's sitting, staring at his cell phone waiting for said high $ consultant to call and tell him the server is back up. The fact that the current server which avejuice.com is pointing is showing the "closed page" and that if you navigate to www.avejuice.com/login.php is returning errors does not indicate any sort of progress or lack thereof as all of this work is probably being done and should be done on a non public server if his main goal at this point is to extract orders while waiting for the dedicated server to be available from godaddy... IMHO.


Edit:

After posting this I rechecked the AVE site and it now states that they will be open again tomorrow at 8am instead of they will be closed for a while. Take what you want out of that.

Just as an FYI my credit card company has finished processing my payment and is no longer in "pending" status. I'm not sure if this means anything at all in regards to if I will be getting my AVE order but I thought I would share.

Mine has also. Havent heard anything from Avejuice. That was Monday.
