Well, per my sig below I've "saved" about $460. I figure I've spent about $350 on vaping, but some really poorly thought out decisions early on (like the $120 v2 cigalike super kit, lol), so I expect to do better in the next quarter than I did in the first...

Tentatively agree about iClears over protanks (as I try to figure out why my protank mini with a brand new head is leaking, and how to clean them without screwing them up). iClears are pretty easy and reliable if you keep them clean. Just wish the 16's came in a glass version.

saving money? absolutely not.....enjoying the heck out of not feeling like i am dying every morning when i woke up... you betcha. seriously, vaping saved my life...there is no way i would still be here without a ventilator if i hadn't finally made the change. just had to make some serious changes in my lifestyle and this was the biggest change. since august and no cigs and 50 lbs lighter i feel like a kid again! for the record i'm not THAT old nor was i obese..just seriously unhealthy overall. trust me here...you can make any changes you want with your health, happiness and overall attitude if you want it bad enough.... take that :D

Someone I know made a good point about the amount of money people spend on vaping compared to cigs.....

"You dont collect cigarettes....."

:D :D Gave me a double big smile that thought did!! Been almost a year since I started vaping. And I did not start vaping to save money, I started vape to quit smoking!! And according to my banner, I haven't spent over $3000 on tobacco products. Of course the downside umm, benefit of that, shows me how much I can justify in spending on mods and rba's. I know I haven't spent 3k on vape gear this year, but, in my "collection" have 4 mechs, 3 dna30 chips, one in the futura, aand supermax on the way, around 8 rba's and over a gallon of juice base.

What I don't have is over 10,000 cig butts that I have disposed of, additional holes burned into my clothes, bedding, upholstery, no longer hack up large wads of nasty flam, or tar stained teeth.

I do have full lung capacity, great health, and a house with a slight smell of cinnamon to it. And my cats don't run away when I take a vape.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

P.S.: The cat bites!

So i quit cigs for two reasons, One: Save some money! Two: Get healthier...

So far i have acheived one of those two goals.. Im definately getting healthier. As far as saving money goes, if you look at the numbers you should theoretically save money.. But everytime i get a little cash.. Its off to the local B&M for some UPGRADES! Im not complaining, i LOVE vaping. Definately my new hobby.

Whats your guys's thoughts?

Well smoking is not a hobby like vaping, so in some form you are saving money on habitual things like nicotine cravings, as far as a new hobby goes just deduct that from your from money...:)

I think it just seems like I spend more. I may spend a pretty penny on a big vapor purchase but it's not an every day occurrence like a pack of smokes would be. I may drop 50 bucks and be content for a month or so and spend 25 the next month, but it all depends. I think it's the random big purchases that make me think I'm not saving money. However, 5 bucks a day for a pack of cigarettes is 130 a month and I can guarantee i don't steadily spend that on vaping.

Oh whatcha order? Size, color? We need details!

I ordered a beauty ring and flower battery cap. Love them both!
This time I got the polished silver mini, blue LED, w/extension. Funny 'cuz I dropped my full sized white one last night and took it into the shop this AM. Something went screwy with the button. They tried pulling the spring up but that didn't help tighten the battery. They are going to mail it back to the hospital. It's all good, I still have 2 MVP's for back up.
