Saw this up for auction. Is it real?

Thanks, guys. If it wasn't a fake, I'd try to find one for my daughter (loves that color). But I don't want one that got pried apart and painted in someone's garage.

I was looking at his photos one day trying to see some closeups of some of the other Provari's he's selling. It looks like he paints cars & powdercoats for a living. From what I saw it looks like a professional job. Not sure how powdercoat would hold up (probably pretty well), but I wouldn't think that the paint job is subpar. It looks really good in all the photos I saw.

I used to try to find nail polish that matched my car. I could see painting my Provari to match my car.

I could try, but I'm not sure what color my car is. I suppose I could just hold it out of the window for a bit; I drive 100 miles every morning, most of it on dusty mountain back roads.

Open the driver side door and look at the door jams. The OEM color code should be there.

'Tiffany and Co.' Provari guy is on Facebook, and does nice stuff, from what I've seen (no, I don't own one of these or know him personally). fwiw, I don't think he is claiming these have anything to do with Tiffany and Co., just that he matched the color.

Darren AKA 'OCD mods' also does a lot of work on mods, and has done a fair amount of Provaris. he's also on Facebook.

I don't know what the Tiffany and Co. guy uses, but iirc OCD uses cerakote and it's really strong. he's uploaded videos of keys being rubbed against mods, trying to scratch them (spoiler: they don't scratch ;) ).

regards.

I'm sure a person could have a "real" Tiffany & Co. ProVari made. They do custom items after all. Most likely it would end up being made of solid sterling silver (except for the threads) and have engravings, gold inlay, jewels, and other frippery.

I imagine a Kennedy or Rothschild could give them a call and see how much it would cost.
