Hey all, it's been a while. I quit smoking and ecigs for a little while, but now I'm back smoking cigarettes and I want to change back to ecigs again.

Smoke 51's stuff has always intrigued me a bit, and I see their new disposables, and am thinking about giving one a whirl.

Just wondering what, if any, your experiences with them have been or if I should just bite the bullet and go for a smoke 51 starter kit.

I tried a couple Krave packs when they first came out, so I was restricted to only cherry and menthol flavor, which was in MY opinion disgusting, but thats just me, as I dislike menthol and cherry resembles cough medicine too much.

The Krave device itself to me is just OK...... I found the draw much too easy, the vapor so-so, and the lightweight of the device too light.

I suppose for what it is, a disposable option, it is probably ok, and may be better in different flavors than I tried. But following my 1st two experiences I choose to pass on them as UN-satisfactory.

As far as the 51 starter kits, they're a little too expensive for my liking, as well as the replacement cartomizer replacements, for what they offer and produce.

I still enjoy my 51 as a "fall back" spare device to my others.

And I do believe these two piece designs to be great for convenience, those who are hard of seeing, and to the elderly, who are looking at an alternative to tobacco. But, for those who don't fall under those catagories, I feel that other devices out there will better satisfy them in the end.

Too bad you were'nt in Canada, as I could probably help you out with a cheap 51 kit from my failed business attempt due to Health Canada, but shipping to the US is simply not an option.

Best of luck in your decision.......

As another Chicago resident I disagree. The problem with ecigs today is that people don't like the look of them. There is only 1 kind of cigarette that 95% of America smokes. It's either white with yellow .... for regs or white with white .... for lights.

They are also either 100s or normal size. That's it!

I see ecigs are big in Europe but they have those long ... ones with mouth pieces, or they are just black or brown.

This is the number one reason why more American's don't smoke them.
Krave wins simply by being the right color. It seems odd that companies wouldn't pick up on the fact that they need to make the cig look real for us to smoke it. There is no point of EVER manufacturing a black cigarette.

We like them short and white.

I disagree...I love my 510 (I got the open box kit from cignot.com) and I also love the fact that it doesn't look like a cigarette. I'm trying to avoid cigarettes and every reminder of one has not been good for me. I also like the fact that i can stealth vape at work in my cubicle and everyone thinks i'm chewing on my pen. No one seems to think that chewing on a pen is as bad as smoking :)

Maybe an issue for some new to vaping, but for others once they get past the mental picture of grabbing a smoke from a pack and then digging for your lighter and lighting it, you soon realize that that is just behavioral thing we did to get to the part of actually smoking. Same goes with the thing looking like a cigarette. Your mind has been programmed to see a cigarette. Once you get over that - it works fine and an e-cigarette becomes the norm.

Not to mention that the general consensus of despise for tobacco cigarettes (both non's in attitude, and pro's getting fed up at being harped at continuously), is a VERY good reason to discontinue the desire for "cigarette" looking alternative devices.

Wonder if we'll ever see a borg type rig up to completely avoid ANY disdain towards our habit and vape in peace, lol......

I suggest you do quite a bit more research before buying anything from Smoke 51 or Smoking Everywhere or anyplace like them. The devices themselves aren't that bad, but those companies are. You can buy the piece/parts almost anywhere and come out at 1/4 of the price.
