go and try it yourself first. talk also no use one.

I'll try to rephrase that politely.

Each individual will have his/her own preference. What works for me, may not work for you. Your device/delivery system/juice..etc all play a part. You have to try it to see if it suits your style of vaping.

But to answer your question--YES. Easy setup, easy maintenance, great performance. Any drawbacks? ---None that I can think of.

Hi guys, sorry to borrow the thread. Does this means that Kanthal is the wire specifically designed to build a microcoil and is it the thinner the wire the better? I'm interested to try, any guidance would be appreciated.

I think Kanthal is a more preferred wire. I used 28 kanthal wire to build my micro. It give me the low ohms i am lookin for and at the same time it is strong enough to hold it's shape when i pull a 3mm wick thru it.

My build - 28 kanthal wire, 2mm coil & 6 to 8 rounds. (1.3 ohms)

Take your time to read. Please start from the beginning so as to get an idea of why microcoils started. If you start reading from the end, you'll see some 'S kickin sub ohm microcoils, which is not recommended if you're just starting out. Those guys know their mods, batts, attys inside out. AND they have safety precautions.

If it works for you, shoot a thanks to super_X_drifter, the Granddaddy of microcoils.

If it works for you, it doesn't matter, but that is NOT a microcoil. You're not getting the full benefit of thermal "????" (can't remember the word). Try dropping your coil ID to 1.5mm and increasing the number of wraps. See if it makes any difference for you.

Curios about how you wick a 3mm wick into a 2mm coil?????

Lol... i had tried 1.5mm.. i just can't get the wick thru so i switched to 2mm instead. The 3mm wick i used is much softer therefore i can wick it thru..

I tried but cant upload the pic..
