I just bought the AetherTech Plume Veil V2.5 and saw that they also have 2 newer RDAs, the Chrysalis & the Synapse. The Synapse looks decent, but no different than most RDAs. But I really like the deck build of the Chrysalis. It has a lot of air flow options. I almost bought it instead of the Plume 2.5, but I wasn't sure about the air flow in the bottom of the deck. Please see the pics below. It looks like it would leak pretty easily. I have the Kennedy quad coil competition and it leaked. I bought the Kennedy 22, which doesn't have the holes in the bottom of the deck, and it rarely leaks.

Just curious if this is a problem with the Chrysalis. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

I bought one last week on an impulse type purchase and regret it. While the amount of feature (airflow) built into it are great and the way the collar secures to the base is cool, it leaks like a .... (bottom slots built up condensation in 3 minutes) and can't get rid of the machine oil taste. It's been in two boiling hot baths, 30 minutes in an ultrasonic, soaked overnight in vodka (wasted some Tito's) and tooth brushed with warm soapy water - still tastes funky.

Since I can't get the machine oil taste out I can't comment on the flavor, I spent more time removing from my mod to wipe off the bottom than vaping it. Think of a V1 Kennedy x 100 as far as juice build up under the atty.

The screws also suck as they back off way too easy as well as cut the coil legs.....

Has very good flavor, the screw's will snip the leads if your not careful. I haven't had any leaking problems and the vapor production is good, not grate. Its flavor over vapor for sure. The spit back drip tip is very nice as well as the locking collar. It is extremely easy to build on and theres alot of space for bigger builds. Over all its a nice Atty, I'd give it a 8.5/10

That's a crime where I come from. Lol! Any bottom flow dripper will leak if it's not wicked right or if you drip too much too fast directly over the bottom air holes.

Yeah, I think wasting several ounces of Titos ...... me off more than anything.

This thing leaks regardless. The negative posts have airflow from the bottom slots meaning liquid pours right off the wick down into the air holes. Since the wick/juice wells are very small it is next to impossible for it not to happen.

Painting on as well as taking the top off and carefully wicking still gets the same results.

Definitely not worth the asking price for this RDA.
