The switch may be the giveaway. If you can press this little button 5 times to turn it on and off, then it has some sort of solid state output. Like the standard ego, the voltage probably would be slightly lower than your battery voltage. If there is current limiting in the standard ego, it more than likely occurs here also. I would consider this to have the same vape as a standard ego, only with longer battery life. I would expect all your devices to fit and act just like a standard ego.

That looks like a very interesting "mod". It should work similar to other eGo units and be compatible with "eGo Stuff". That said, if you aren't worried about backward compatibility, you should consider the same things for this that you would consider for other mods:

1) Do you use, or plan to use, Dual Coil (DC) cartos? They need lots of amps, and generally AW IMR batteries. I don't know the specs on this mod to know its max-amps. The PWM regulated voltage appears to be similar to existing eGo stuff (3.4v).
2) Do you want full 3.7 volts (like directly off battery voltage)? The all-mechanical mods do this without voltage drops due to switches. They have "fat buttons" tho.

Overall, I think that this is a neat unit, since the eGo charger will charge the battery inside the unit (charger built into circuitry) so you just screw it in like you would a standard eGo. Thus, you don't need a separate charger if you already have the proper eGo USB charger (verify that it is the correct one). I'd probably have an external charger anyway, so I could just switch batteries and not have to have another PV for vaping while this was charging.

The prices looks reasonable too. And you can get parts separately...switch, tube.

The e-power, for example, is higher voltage (follows battery voltage less any mosfet drop ...I think..last I heard.) It doesn't charge in-unit so you need an external charger. Same with the all-mechanical mods: battery-voltage and external charger.

Overall, I like the fact that you can replace the battery, or have a stack of charged batteries around and just swap the battery without having to carry several units. Particularly if you have "eGo Stuff" and want that eGo specific connector.

I have one and it works fine. Not sure about regulated voltages. I've tried the same carto on both the E-power and this mod and I really can't tell the difference.

And being a Ego mod it takes all the ego and 510 cartos just fine. (same can't be said for the E-Power and the over sized Ego cartos since the E-Power has a larger cone and threads.)
It definitely helps to have a spare battery and charge that seperately since it takes a very long time to charge a 18650 battery with a 500 mAh charger.
The 18650 battery lasts a few days for me so there's no real need to take along any other batteries.

And carto type tanks seem more in proportioin with this fat battery. On an Ego battery it looks huge. Slightly oversized on an E-Power and just about right on this mod. This mod and a tank is all I need for a day of vaping.

If you have an Ego and like it the only difference you will see is that its just alittle too big for a shirt pocket and you only have to recharge every other day.

Button works fine on mine, has on/off feature and anything that fits an Ego/510 fires on it. I've tested 1.25 ohm carts, 1.5 ohm tank and 2 ohm clearo's and they all vape wonderfully.

Jump in, the water is fine.

Does this mod take the 186500, 3k mah battery?? I bought the unit and the batteries before I checked. I don't want it to get here before I am sure I have bought the right batteries. I'm slipping back into analogs, and kicking myself. help

Everything but the flat topped batteries seem to work in it.
I don't have any 3000 mAh batteries but the 2500 and 3600 ones I have work fine.

Hey Bud. Are these longer than your 900mAh's?

So, like I said....just alittle too big for the front shirt pocket but not outragious.....

The water is fine bro, jump in!

D, Mandy would love this thing.....It'll stand up on a table all by its lonesome no shot glass required....no confusing buttons and charges off the dongles AFTER THE INITAIL CHARGE.

19.99 plus 10 for battery.

At that price I bought two and rotate them every day.

Thanks for the pics. Definitely larger. I wish they would make a replaceable battery version like this, but with smaller batts - something like the 650mah or the 900mah's... I would buy two... or if it is better fat - then shorter batts. Do not care about stacking. 3.3v - 3.7v is fine for me.

I charged mine off the standard ego charger the first time. Is there some reason I shouldn't have? It did take awhile but it charged just fine for me.

if it can be hacked, it shall.

From what I have read it can be charged that way or the individual batts in a charger. Just like you said - it takes longer.

I read a review that said it was 3.5v. Do not know how much of a difference 3.3 vs 3.5 would make.
then the reviewer was an idiot or the maker is one. 18650's are 3.7v(4.2 fully charged) so unless they are throttling it down(no idea why they would do that) it should be 3.7v.
