I recently ordered a couple of dse901 batteries with the purple light. One died almost immediately. Then 2 of my brand new atomizers died within a few hours of using them. This morning the purple battery wasn't even on but was burning the crap out of my atomizer...so now I'm thinking there is something faulty with the batteries and not the atomizers....that perphaps these batteries were a bad bunch and burned out my atomizers...thoughts?

I had the same thing happen with one of my original batteries from my kit at e-mokeytreats. Fresh off the charger, I plugged into an atomizer and sat on my desk. The light wasn't on, but I noticed vapor rolling out of the end and it was hot as hell. I popped off the cap and the metal was glowing red and I thought both were done for.

Even after being detached, then reattached, it still would do the same thing.

I let the battery sit overnight standing on end (hole end down) and it has worked fine ever since. The cooked atomizer still works too, and finally doesn't taste like it anymore.

That's definitely a battery switch problem. Well, just hope it dosen't happen again.

Yep ...pink battery also... I say it's haunted, mine started with the new battery and the first drag, light came on and stayed on and was going to fry the atomizer, so i took the battery off. I tried the recharge to kind of reset it but it continued to do the same thing. Now It is over the so called (warranty period and hello way to short in my opinion.)coz i thought it was human error on my part.
I am going to pry off the led cap and check things out, i just gotta see what fifteen bucks looks like.I am so sure that it's all my fault, at least that's what everyone tells me..LOL
