Anyone try the new Kanger T3 yet?

GIMike, I know what a ego-w is. I almost ordered them, but that was about the time when I was tired of top coils.
I was told that the originals have a clear tube and the knock-offs are frosted.

My wife isn't a happy camper at the moment. She somehow lost her seal above the wicks.
Don't ask me how, as she isn't a tinkerer, so she must have done it when she pulled out the atty base to fill.
She must have caught it on the side of the tube and it came off. That's all I can think of as it takes some effort to remove in the first place.
So something for everyone to take notice of.

Since I don't throw anything out. I took a o-ring from a dead CE3 and added it to the atty base just below the threads.
There is already one there and it looks just like the one that I added.
I did this as I wanted to increase juice flow. After adding the o-ring (it's real small), I lifted the seal above the wicks so the inner tube would set the seal when installed.
I lightly snugged everything up and gave it a test vape. It was slightly on the gurgling side so I snugged it up more.
It is working exactly where I want it.

I guess the moral of the story is: Don't throw anything away that you may be able to use another day.
I have a large zip-lock freezer bag full of goodies....lol.

I've been a carto user for about 4 years now, but have tried a few clearos along the way. My favorite was the ego-W (nobody knows about these), but have tried a couple others like the stardust and vivi nova. The nova was pretty good, though it didn't work well with my VV gripper so I gave up on it and went back to my carto tank. Plus, they ALL had the tip to drip feature that is so common with clearos, that you just don't get with a carto. If this is true about the T3, then it may be the device I've been looking for. The taste of a clearo, with the feeding of a carto. Sounds pretty awesome. Thanks for your help, I'll stay away from the knockoffs

I may have to hold off on this though My gripper only has a 510 (no ego) connection. I'm thinking I'm going to get away from it though and go back to the ego twist. I found the T3 at lite-cig, but their twist batteries are a little high priced. I'll need to look around to see if I can find a vendor that carries both pretty cheap.

Just get a 510 to ego adapter and it will work great with your Gripper. That is what I use with mine.

how many ml's are you guys running through these before you clean them or replace the coils? same as vivis and stardusts?

im using about 6mls a day and hoping to get 3 days worth of vaping from this before cleaning or replacing coils.

I cleaned mine for the first time after 3ml (one day) and the wick seemed to be spotless clean. I just ran some water through it and filled the tank and put it back together again. Didn't dry it but just let it set for a few minutes to let the liquid displace the water on the wick and it vaped just fine.

The wick on my Vision eGo V3 (Stardust) turned very dark at the head and the liquid turned dark, too. That's why I decided to clean the T3 after one day, but as I said before, the wick on the T3 seemed to have no dark stain on it and the liquid was still clear.

I personally like them both. I will want to use the T3 longer to see if it holds up as well as my Vivi Nova's have. I like the T3 better with my ego type devices and the Vivi Nova with my 510 mods.

I really haven't kept track of how often probably not as often as most people do. I usually vape them until the juice gets real dark, tastes bad or I have a wicking issue which isn't often. It would probably be best to rinse them out real good after three or four tanks but I usually have several different ones filled so it is hard to keep track of.

Probably cut the VG with PG if you can. If not, I believe distilled water works but i've also heard that's a hit and miss. I forget the ratio for cutting VG with distilled.

I imagine compared to T2s, these should wick fairly better since gravity is working for the wicks this time and not against it like top coil. Even with thicker 100% VG juice, I'd assume it'd be a bit better than most top coils.

I think I may be noticing something that might cause me to not like these at all. I've only used 1 so far, so I don't know if this is true for all six that I bought.

Full tank - vapor production is excellent, couldn't ask for more.
About 1mL down - vapor production starting to fall off a bit.
About halfway through the tank - vapor production falling off even more, very airy draw like the T2.

Anyone else notice this? I hope it is just this one.

I filled up a second T3 with Highbrow Creme Brulee, and maybe the difference at half full isn't quite as pronounced as I made it out to be, but there is definitely a noticeable difference in the vapor production between the half full Tiramisu and the completely full Creme Brulee. I guess I'm just going to have to vape the Tiramisu and see if the vapor production falls off even more as it reaches empty. But man I do love these when they're full; such great flavor and vapor.

I wanted more juice flow and that is why I added the o-ring as it allows me to be able to back off about 1 thread and still maintain a snug fit. This doesn't push the seal down as tight on the wicks which increases flow for me.
Add small o-ring; lift seal above wicks; fluff wicks; install shell until slightly snug and test vape.

It seems that when it's full, that the weight of the juice helps feed the wicks and as the tank empties you need to have a more forceful draw to maintain the same amount of juice flow.
After making this adjustment, the wicks have better capillary abilities.

I have about 1/32 of a inch gap between the knurling and shell band and this is where is seems to function the best.
I don't think that these are the 'end all' to bottom coil design, but it's a step in the right direction.

Now if the manufacturers would listen and make one that has adjustable juice & air flow controls to meet everyones different vape style/juice viscosity, that would be the end all device in my opinion.

It seems like if I take a long, slow, steady, and easy draw I can recover some of that vapor production. I guess it's not quite so bad as I originally imagined. At least the flavor quality hasn't diminished! Another thing I noticed, Tiramisu is a very dark liquid. If I tilt it too far to the horizontal I get some super saturated slightly burnt hits. Not sure if that means I need to clean it. I still have 1.2mL left from the first fill. Yeah, I don't know. It seems like the longer I vape on the Tiramisu the less the diminished vapor production bothers me. I'm probably analyzing it too much because the last thing I want to worry about while in Vegas is my vapes.

Got 2x of these today and me and the wife love them so far. I replaced a vivi nova mini with it.... It is really easy to draw, no leaking, seems really sturdy, great flavor.

my nova mini has started to darken the liquid after 1/2 a tank making it taste like crap (i have 3x heads I rotate/clean daily and all are less than a week old).
