I currently have a couple of ego-c's, and a vv ego c (though its not really a vv). I just don't feel like its enough for me I guess. Maybe its the juices, i dont know.

I have to figure it out because it's really hard for me to convince my wife to jump on the bandwagon when I still smoke some analogs during the day as well.

I have been thinking about the lavatube or the provari, though dont want to spend the 200+ if the lavatube is more than sufficient.

I need more flavour and more vape I guess.

I am awaiting an order from Maple Leaf all with double shot of flavour so I am hoping that will settle the flavour part

I have been trying to come off analogs totally so I can get wife to do the same but I am not being as successful as many here, and my frustration goes. I shall not quit trying under any circumstance but I can't try to ask someone to do something, I myself am not able to do

If you feel like something is missing, then it is!

I can't comment on the Lavatube, but I do use the ego-c and the flavour is good enough for my personal taste. In the beginning, I had trouble with my tastebuds, as most people do. Whatever you decide to do about changing your gear, also work on finding that perfect juice (or two) for you. It takes time to work it all out. Nice to read you haven't given up....when you find what works, it will be worth it.

Good luck :)

I suggest a provari mini with at least 4 IMR 18350 batteries which fit nicely in one of the plastic battery boxes sold by provapes . Tanks are not the best for delivering vapour so I suggest you find some cartozimers like the 3.5ml Kanger bottom coil cartomizers . They have both capacity and flavour and look good on a mini .

I would recommend one. I've had mine for 4+ months, but it is starting to come apart. It has been used and abused though. It still works. If I could go back and do it over again though, I would have went with a provari.
All in all if a lava tube is what is in your budget, get it. I rarely touch my egos anymore. Although using my lava tube, I found I rarely stray away from 5v with a 3.0 ohm boge, so now 5v mods just make more logical scenes. I would have never found that combo with out my lava tube though.

Why not just try something simple like lr cartos. Or dripping with an arty. I like the 306lr on an ego

I'm with you there. If the OP is using a ego w/ a SR carto == blah. Pop in a LR boge or LR stardust (ok, so not everyone likes em, but I do), and it makes a world of difference. Especially with my twist. LR boge at 3.7-4.2v is perfect for most of my juice.

Now, having said that, I'm not getting fantastic battery life on my 1000mah twist at ~4v on a LR carto. You'd probably get better battery life on a LT.

Are you using cartos or atomizers? What ohm are they? This is one of the most important and also the most overlooked aspect. Let us know and we can help.

The lavatube is definitely sufficient and they're very resellable. If you have it for a few months and decide you want a Provari you can sell the LT easily. No need to spent over a hundred bucks. The LT will give you the VV experience.

You know, if you're looking for the most satisfying vape sustained, it's any device with a Kick module. The Kick regulates your batteries. You know that sweet vape you get for about half an hour on a pair of freshly charged batts? Well, that's what you get for the whole charge time with a Kick in your device. They're $45 and fit in many devices that are around $40. The Bolt for example. This is the best way to go if you're looking for the best vape over the entire charge. It's also nice because you can throw any carto/atty on there, and it automatically adjusts the voltage depending on the ohms of the atty/carto so that you're always at the exact amount of watts you prefer. Do a bit of reading on the Kick and I think you'll be surprised with how cheap it could be. Way cheaper than a Provari.

I heard Nhaler has them in stock as of yesterday!! I was going to buy one and a cheap+sturdy mechanical mod to drop it in but I found an amazing deal on a Buzz Pro on the classies and went for that instead (Dude is including a free cisco spec atty with it for me! and some cartos!). But the Kick is def in my future!

Just checked and they don't have the Kick in stock anymore :( but they do have the "Kick Start Kit" for $80 so if you wanted one enough.. comes with Kick, 2 IMR 18500 or 18490, 2x2.5ohm bridgeless atties, and a 2ohm mega carto. Worst case scenario, you just sell the extras it comes with on the Classies and make back the extra you paid for it. Link: http://shop.nhaler.com/The-Kick-Start-Kit-KickStart.htm

BTW they don't ship to Canada but I know someone that would receive it for you and send it on (has done this for many folks outside the US on this forum).

I've been using a Lava tube for a little under 3 weeks, and I'm quite enjoying it so far. It's a good introduction to VV, and I love how flavours can change as you mess around with the voltage. Something on an eGo battery can take on a whole different character at higher volts.

One tip - the default atomizers that come with the thing aren't the greatest; I had one bork on me after about 10-12 hauls on it, so if you plan on dripping, try to find a decent atomizer, or use some cartos. I'm going to second an opinion or two on here and say that 3.7-4.2 is the sweet spot for an LR carto.

Good luck on kicking the analogs completely. It's a great feeling getting through that first day without one.

I have a ego c twist coming to me in the mail, i have the saber touch VV (for now) also have a unregulated 1100mah pass through, and a ego t 650mah pass through, and you know i love my pistol grip mod, sure it does 3 voltages (3.7, 5v and 6v) but on it, the 3.7V kick out is awesome......

Now you say you are still going back to analogues? I am surprised no one else may have suggested this, or if i just down right missed it, but you are A) not liking your flavors? B) what strength do you have them in? Do they have nicotine content at all? In the ECF help pages it says to try getting samples of all the nic strengths (0, 8, 12, 16, 18, 24, 36 and 48) that way you can start with the lowest and work on up, see if there is a nic strength that kills the need for a smoke.

When you find the right strength you will quiet the smokes then and there. Personally? I started at 18mg with some flavors a fellow ECF member hooked me up with. I found i did not need a smoke with that level, but everyone is different.

Maybe have a look at what your using too. Is it 100% PG? 100% VG? a mix? you may need to adjust that as well, but again before you go mucking around there you need that magic number. Jug heads can hook you up with 7ml samples for $2.99 and with a $9.99 flat shipping fee, why not try? On a personal level i have the joke smoke, the root beer, 7up and mountain dew.....i have always been a root beer fan, and drink (drank) nothing else, but their mountain dew is the one i love

Flavor Crafters has a very nice selection, personally i love the water melon, earl grey tea, and black cherry

Vapor Geek distributes juice from other vendors. Personally Juice Clears Water melon and timmies is good, the Canadian full flavor is good too though some say it is a strong perfume taste, from maple leaf vapes, the arrrrrgh.....why 4? is great and recently i found the new batch of moose juice seriously lacking

I happen to like using it on star dusts (have a huge collect -- no serious i do!), or a Vision V3 clearomizer to me the boges and kangers and carts are nice, same as atties, but i do not get the taste or throat hit i want from my own 18mg juice.

But push come to shove, i could say by a saber touch VV, or buy a stainless steel lava tube (Knight Rider), i could say lay the cash down on a Darwin, Provari, Rubicon, pistol grip, get a ton of atties and carts and clearo's.....but this is just what works for me, and it may not work for you. In the end it is your money.

The best way to see anything anyone recommends for you is right for you, why not check to see if there is a Vape meet in your area? Or even some Vapers in your part of the country? You would be surprised and how they may say they are willing to meet with you and let you try a few toots to see if you like it so as you are not chasing your tail around in circles for nothing.

I know this is not much help but i hope it helps some

Ah finally someone around here got a Pro, now I don't feel so all alone :). Have two Infinity's. Hope you like it! Sorry for the hijack...

Hey I got 2 BP's (New Blue and a Blemished Silver) a vmax and a LT. I still prefer my BP's but the vmax is a pretty cool unit(WON IT AT OUR RECENT VAPE MEET....Thanks to JJ at vancityvapor.com). The LT well what can i say you get what you pay for. The button on it sucks and I've broken it so many times dropping it I don't think I can solder it back together any more.

I have an Infinity Pro and like it; but I am a bit paranoid about getting replacement batteries for it.
The postage cost will double the price of three sets of them.
It is a bit like I remember when I smoked sitting at home on a Sunday evening and wondering if I should go and get a pack of smokes before the store closed.
Inevitably I went, but rarely opened the pack before Monday afternoon.
I ordered a Twist last week to help solve this problem.
