Anyone use these LIPO BAGS to charge your EGO battery in ?

someone mentioned that hobby stores caRRY These LIPO bags,, apparantly they will contain a fire if in the event a battery explodes , you basically put the battery in these bag and let it charge ,, sounds like a great idea, especially with having peace of mind that in the case your EGO battery blows up during charge, the bag will contain the fire

any comments?

Seems to be a good idea, or just charge on a fire proof surface, I don't know. Still pondering all of the advice on this. The thing about a bog though, it would be difficult to see when the charging light turns green (meaning it has finished charging).

well i dont know about that,, for example, lets say you have timed how long it takes to charge your EGO battery from start to finish,,, why not just set a timer for that amount,, and when the time is up,, open up the bag and the battery is finished charging.. so there for there wouldnt be the need to have to see the green light if you have it timed ?

You could pull it out and check it I guess. I rarely wait until my battery needs to be charged so charge time varies for me.

If you get a good charger it shouldn't be a problem. For the larger batteries, I know Pila makes a good charger, but I'm not sure on the eGo.
