Anyone using Innokin?

Any sg vaper using innokin mpv 1 or 2 or the vv 3? asked this in some other parts of this forum but might be better if i posted a thread directly.

I'm a complete noob in vaping but these products seem to be budget friendly as well as not getting obsolete in the near future (in terms of it being able to adapt a noobie as he progresses in his vaping journey)

actual users pros and cons would be helpful. also in case i get my hands on these, what would be a good combo for the tank, coil etc (if i don't want rba stuff as it may overwhelm me as a beginner)

any help would be appreciated, thanks

I used an itaste vv v3 for quite a while, it's a great starter device. I had mine paired up with a kanger protank 2 for most of that time, then moved up to the aerotank. The pros: A lot of features in a small inexpensive package, easy to carry around, pass through charging with a USB cable (can vape on it while charging) and with a high pwm (pulse width modulation...the way most variable volt/watt mods regulate power output) it has a smoother vape then many units at higher price points. Cons: Low battery mah (only 800) so battery drains fairly quick (need a couple to rotate if you vape a lot and are out and about), max output is only 11 watts....plenty for most beginning vapers but could be outgrown quick, they have a known issue with the positive pin in the 510 connector where some tanks will push them in and they won't make contact with the tank (was never a problem on mine as I always used the same tank on it, and it's easy to fix of it happens, requiring only a paper clip). All of these pros and cons fit the MVP2.0 also (except for the battery size) as they operate the same.

Another cheap device to look at is the eleaf istick. Pros: Small and comfortable to use, can go to to 20 watts (will only reach 20 watts with a 1-1.1 ohm coil), 2200mah battery lasts a long time (I get up to two days). Cons: Low freq. Pwm so doesn't vape as smooth as the innokins at lower wattages (won't get into the science of why, and it smoothes out at higher wattage), it uses a less accurate method of regulation which makes it vape hotter then other mods at the same power settings (not a big deal, just ignore what the screen says and set to taste), and the 510 threads are easy to strip out (most of us leave a 510/ego adapter on it to bypass this issue, and it happens to come with one ).

Oh, fyi....innokin has recently announced the near release of updates to their line up. They are releasing an itaste vv v4, that will have larger battery capacity (up to 1200mah I believe) and go up to 15 watts, and they just put out the MVP20, which could be a great device for your needs of they price it cheap enough. They even fixed the positive pin issue with a spring loaded 510 connector. There are even more new models due out in the near future....a couple of models of the MVP3.0... We don't know what those will look like yet.

I've moved from CoolFire 1 to the MVP2 and off to a Hana clone. MVP2 is a great device for newbies as long as they have a tank or clearomizer that is working consistently - a rebuildable one is recommended to last you all the way. But like me, the idea of getting a new coil every time for my tank was just inconvenient and I needed a more powerful vape. So now, I'm with Hana clone and never turned back

Still using my vv3 even tho I have moved on to a box mod, pros it is really safe to me at least, durable if you can take care of it, I like to use it with any kangertech branded tanks.. glass evod, t3s, unitank, protank all good, most importantly I feel that its lightweight is a thumbs up, really nice functions and relatively happy with its battery life, looks sleek or cool, not the norm kind of "pen" looking ecigs, simple led display. All in all good for carrying around and very good starter. The con to this would be do NOT ever drop this too hard, it is much more fragile than your phone. *spoilt one before and still goes back to it. heh I wish it could go up to 20 watts tho..

unfortunately the innokin is unavailable where i'm going. looks like will be going full mech, maybe a gus telescopic v2 or something like that and a nautilus aspire clearo, let's see if that combo will be good.

hey yup I saw that and I think it is a really a good deal, however I am one of those guys that crave power although I'm looking at the 150 watts device now and owning a 100 watt device, I think tat 150 watts would be the max I will ever go to.

Using a VV3. 11 watts is good for decent vapor and it hasn't failed on me yet. Battery sucks though but just bring along a portable charger and you're good.

Though the istick is a good little device for what it is, it has enough issues that I would suggest the vapor shark or cloupor mini (haven't used, or heard any real reviews on the cloupor to really suggest that one though). I do have an istick, but I almost never use it. Form factor is great, but the vape quality isn't as good as my DNA device. I have heard that there is a new 30 watt istick model out that fixed some of the issues though (better top cap for flush fit with more tanks, better 510 connector...spring loaded I believe), but if they didn't fix the output regulation to rms it would still be a no go for me, and maybe even if they did, unless they went to a smoother output...i.e. a faster pwm freq, or direct vdc output (my prefered) like DNA's and now the new MVP 20 watt uses.

Try looking up the new vaporshark dna40.. best for low maintenance dripping since it uses nickel wires and temp. Control.. no burnt cottons and lesser wastage on juices..
