Anyone with basic photoshop skills care to help?

Ok, I have no knowledge of photoshop ( i dont even own PS for that matter ) but really need some help, If anyone out there could possibly give it a shot and help me out that would be awesome!

What i need is rather simple for the casual PS user. I wanted to simply remove the skull from this photo so that i have a picture of only the skull ( in all black ) rather then having it on a white/black background, Simply cut the skull out and paste it into a new picture with the skull being all black.

Anyone? Someone? Care to help? lol

If you want a psd of the skull only lemme know , but i read that you dont have PS installed . Hope it helps you

Here is my try
I used Painshop Pro, saved as .png (makes it transparent background, at least on my computer it does)
