Get a $30 Vamo. Not only you can use smaller or lager battery but it's just as good.
This is an ABSOLUTE fallacy.

This is what people who didn't spend the extra money on a Provari, tell themselves to make them feel better about wasting money.

Think about it... If the Vamo, at $30, was just as good as the Provari... Provape would be out of business.

The Provari main limitation is that you can have 6 Vamos instead.

And this is what they say as they throw away broken vamo after broken vamo, until they learn that a Provari will outlast 6 Vamos.

Look, the vamo is a great device, for the money.... FOR THE MONEY.

But It's not in the same league as the Provari.

Oh, and if you think I'm just defending the Provari cause I'm a Provari fan boy... I'm actually a die hard mechanical user.
I have used both and know the quality product that ProVape offers in the Provari...
If I ever did decide I wanted a VV device... It would be a Provari, hands down.

Have you guys tried ProVeri's 510-to-Ego adapter? Some reviews say that it does not fit Kanger T3. Is it true? I am assuming their adapter does the same thing as this adapter, but I thought it would be better to get it all from one place. Thanks.
It is absolutely not true. The Provape adapter fits the Kanger T3. There was a batch of T3's with bad threads, and that is how those reviews got posted. I have three of the Provape adapters and they are well worth the extra few bucks. I've compared them to the cheap $2.99 ones, and there is no comparison. One is machined steel, the other is chrome plated zinc.

Edit: I'm assuming the other is plated zinc (the page won't load). ProVape is the only company that manufactures those adapters here in the U.S. all other adapters come from China.

It does not work on kanger products and I can't return it because its not worth the time.

The explanation given by other reviewers was there was a bad batch of Kangers with messed up threads. All three of the ones I've ordered worked great with Kanger MT3's and T3's. Whether it was ProVape's messup or Kanger's, they seem to have fixed the issue.

Ok so I have 29 bad kanger parts and its not pro vapes adapter right.
This is an interesting issue. I've seen posts saying Provape's adaptor works and also seen posts saying that it doesn't. Hmmmm. What's the truth?

I took the advice of a reviewer on the Provape website who had purchased one from Provape which didn't work for a T3, and ordered mine from another vendor just to be safe.

Well bad mine sorta works but then u need pilers to get apart and tanks sit at a funny angle and I have to use force to get it that far. So maybe some work some don't. And provapes cust service sent this
Hi Corey,

I'm sorry to hear this! I have to admit, I am not familiar with the Kanger mt3. I did a quick google search and I see that it is Ego cone threaded, and is not 510 threaded, so this would explain. The Ego adapter is intended to allow you to install and Ego T on your ProVari.

Coincidentally I just noticed one of the reviews on our site points out that it will not fit the Kanger mt3's at all. If you would like to return it, you certainly can. Please just let me know and I will arrange to have an RMA sent you to right away. Thank you.

Best Regards,
Brandy
I was then like it is a ego tank huh

If you can afford the provari get it you won't regret it. If I would have got it sooner I would have completely quit sooner.
You can try a spinner or twist for 20 bucks to get your feet wet in variable voltage if your not sure. Tanks try a t3 or protank, the protank works great on my provari. Lucky you by starting this thread you are getting a crash course in vaping from many experts here. Good luck in your journey.

you can get great batteries and chargers at lighthound.com that's where i do all my battery shopping, and they've yet to let me down. the kit is good, because you don't have to worry about buying or waiting for anything else to get busy on your provari. i have a carbon fiber j wrap on mine, and i love it. not only does it protect the finish, it makes the grip better.

Hello, I am new to vaping, but I leaning toward skipping all the usual steps and going for the ProVari, but the question is - is there anything better than ProVari out there? Also, what are the limitations of ProVari - does it have any? - in terms of what can be used with it, cartomizers, tanks, etc. Thanks.

I'm really surprised that after 10 pages, no one has mentioned the Darwin. Variable wattage easily adjusted by a simple wheel, charges with a standard mini usb (and can also be used while charging), battery lasts all day even for a chain vaper like me, and it has a clear, easy to read LCD screen that tells you everything (watts, volts, amps, ohms, and battery level) at a single glance. It's pure vaping heaven in my not so humble opinion.

The Darwin

Evolv has great customer service too. I had an issue a few months after I got my Darwin where a connection dislodged in the mini usb port and it wouldn't charge anymore. I sent it to Evolv by FedEx overnight delivery, they fixed it the next day, and sent it back overnight delivery that same day. Total turn around time from when my Darwin left my hand until I had it back again was under 48 hours. That was over a year ago, and I have had no other issues with it.

They're not cheap, but the best never is.

It is a done deal, ProVari it is, ordered it today. Now I just need to figure out the delivery system (still a bit confusing) and the juice.

Grats! :thumb: You won't be disappointed.

I did a tutorial on the more common juice delivery systems: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3230-1-proper-terminology-carto-tank-what-primer-juice-delivery-attachments.html

Finding e-liquids that you will like will be as challenging as the right delivery device. Individual flavors and favorite vendors will both be highly subjective. Personally, after a year of vaping, I've found what I prefer. I've found that those juice vendors that use only all-organic, all-natural flavorings are best. You'll pay a little more than average prices for them, but I feel they are worth it in the long run. I've spent far too much trying to find cheaper vendors, and its just not worth it.

Dripeez: https://natural-eliquid.com/store/index.php

Virgin Vapors and Vaperite also sell all-natural, all-organic flavored e-liquids, also recommended.

Because they Always seem to be Out Of Stock, I wanted to compare them before buying a new device, the Provari is Better-Looking anyway & suits my needs. I bought a VAMO previously to check out the VW craze, I found myself using the VV option more than VW, so I sold it. I think VW should be adjustable in .2 increments, sometimes that's all I need between juices, I found the .5 to be a big change which is why I prefer VV.
