I have 2 VapeOnly Aspire Mini Vivi Nova-S tanks which are pyrex lined. They have good flavor and don't seem to gurgle but have had problems getting them to fire. They tend to push down the center posts in my VV3's and Ego Ctwist and then they don't make connection. I don't know why that is because it never happens with any of my other clearos (protanks and Iclear 16's). I barely crank them, until I feel it start to get tight... no fire. I crank a little more, no fire. I then end up having to pull up the center post with a mini screwdriver...it pushes down to the point where none of my other clearos will connect either. Weird! I get really nervous pulling up the posts on my batteries.. can they explode if you pull them too far?

Thanks for the reply, that is some good information. As a side note, how do you dry burn these? I dry burn my kanger coils, but that is easy since I can pull the tops off and see the coils. This makes dry burning a breeze as I can see when it is done. When I tried that with one of these, the wicking came out and I was pretty well screwed. The next attempt was done without taking them apart, but something in the coil "popped" and it was shot as well.

Since then, I removed my extension tube and plastic adapter, and have just been using Kanger heads in it. The results are great, and rebuilding with cotton is pretty easy, but it isn't the same as using the aspires. I was only getting 3-4 days per coil, but even then, if I can figure out how to clean and reuse them, I could potentially get up to 2 -3 weeks of life from each. It's still shorter than my Kanger lifespan (before rebuilding), but the vape is much different and that makes it worth it.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

I don't remove the casing, I used to but can be tricky to put back on, as you say the wadding can come out. Short bursts whilst blowing into the top(I use a straw as one time I had juice blow back straight in the eye.....OUCH!) until you can see the top coil glow, a few more very short bursts(you don't wanna burn anything inside) seeing the bottom coil is tricky but once the top coil is dry burned, If I can't see the bottom coil I check the resistance to ensure the bottom coil is still functioning(haven't had any go yet) and proceed to boiling.

I am currently using a 1.8Ohm head that was one of the first I tried this method on(inc dents on the casing where I had taken it off with pliers) this must be the 4th time it has been used and it is performing as good as new.

Hope this helps.

Have you tried pulling the centre post out on the aspire, this is a well known problem with these(explained in pretty much every review video) You may find that its not the connector pushing on your batts but the threaded part where you are cranking down.....just a thought.

Try pulling the centre post out on the aspire, just a mm or 2 and give that a go.

I just got my anyvape. I already have a nautilus and just figured i'd try something out. I really love the construction of these compared to my iclear stuff; the glass is a nicety and the threading just seems better.

I LOVE how both of these vape.

With regards to coil usage. I've had my nautilus for a month. I usually hit my iclear at work as it fits in my VTR and the nautilus has to be used with the adapter making for a big setup. I've used both the iclear and nautilus (without changing coils) for 35 days.

I've cleaned each once and dry burned each after cleaning with no issues.

I vape at 8-11 watts depending on my mood but 90% of the time at around 8.
