Good afternoon people of Apollo.
Fear not the commencing wane of your weekend respite.
No my friends!
For the dawning of a new era shall soon grace us with character building boredom and toil, and remind us that lifes constant suckling of our dreams, shall only bring us closer to our next beloved end-of-week sabbatical.
So friends, let us be jolly for that!

Thank you Lass...she's covering and should be going home tomorrow or the next day. After that comes the physical therapy and whatnot. I'll be going over there throughout that process to do her gardening and tending to chores.
KK......hope your Mom's surgery went well and that she is doing ok!!

Kittykrazee OMG! So very sorry to hear about your mum. What a mess I know! All the waiting at the hospital and changes in routine can take a toll on everyone, not just mom.

I have known 5 ppl that have had broken hips. My Grandpa has had that happen to him 3 times!!!!
My question is, how in the world did humanity deal with this phenomena 100 or more years ago?
I'm thinking they didn't!
Maybe it's our crappy diet, lacking in calcium and magnesium and vitamin D. ???? Or maybe we are just living longer. Or it's all the above!

I wish your mum a speedy, painless recovery. We are sending some positive energy your way, so u can pass it on.

It's not the crappy diets!
As you get older you just don't absorb nutrients as well, thus losing mass and bone density. It's especially common for older woman to fall and break bones. Just something that happens and is unavoidable, unfortunately.
As for dealing with it back in the day, the age of death was much younger and people likely didn't make it that long to have those kinds of complications.

Hi all :) I'm Sara and I'm new to the forum, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I started smoking when I was 14 (I'm 27 now) and I've been wanting to quit for several years, but couldn't seem to get through 1 day without smoking. I tried a disposable e-cig from the liquor store in January and it helped a little, so I went online in search of a good company to buy a starter kit from. Apollo stood out to me for a lot of reasons, so I ordered a standard kit in February. It exceeded all my expectations. I love how many e-liquids there are. Since then I moved on to the ego superior kit and a pretty neat APV I got from a shop by me. I wish I could say that I haven't had a single "analog" since my first kit came in the mail...but I can say that I've gone from a pack a day to averaging about 3 analogs a week. I guess for me it's about progress, not perfection. So that's my story :) Thanks Apollo! You guys may prove to be a life saver-literally! :) I really really want a vTube! Those things are just beautiful and sound like a vaper's dream!
