I received a reprimand for posting a swear word last night. Appologies to those who were offended. I tried to make it as un-vulgar as possible by inserting symbols but turns out, that's against the rules too! LOL!

Remember the Southpark episode about the human centipede thing? If only they had read the rules.....

I always agree to the rules but never read them. Thank goodness the fine on ECF isn't as severe! >;-)

In my experience, it depends on who does it and what they're saying at the time. That infraction seems to be an excuse to stop folks from ruffling feathers.
At least it was in my case.

No matter how trivial we may find certain rules to be they are the rules which we have agreed to abide by. I do however think its great that you are willing to take the high road and apologize for it. Well done.

The apology by the OP was a nice gesture and not necessary. It speaks a lot for his character.

I am closing this thread because the complaining about the rules and moderation here will just end badly for those involved. The rules are in place for a reason, if you find the rules more restrictive than you are willing to accept there are indeed other forums you may visit.
