dropped from pocket onto pavment hundreds of times
dropped in water
swam with it in pocket
dropped in sand at beach
ran over with lawn mower.... yes that happend ! fell out my shirt pocken unknown and i mowed it over clank clank clank .... it only got a few moderately big scratches along the side and one on the bottom ! i litteraly picked it up and whent ohhhhh no and then vaped it lol worked just fine.
through all of that the rsst tank never broke

it was my all day carry mod because its so tough and made of solid stainles steel.
it mechanical so nothing to break or short
and in 18650 mode last all day

Does anyone believe the Vamo or Tesla could take the punishment that a Provari can?

I realize the Provari is above the OP's price cutoff. But because of his dangerous and demanding occupation, he needs something that can take a hard fall. I seriously doubt the above mods would stand up to such punishment. Far better to throw in another $40 or so and have some piece of mind. Just my opinion.

Oil and gas...............................
Just bring your lunch for a few days. Get the Provari.

Nothing to start... Most of these negative posters have never handled or used a ProVari to give any valid comparison, or opinion whatsoever. ;)

I KNOW how great they are... :) I just received one in a trade to compliment my other, which is over a year old, tough as nails, and going strong.

I'm happily enjoying the new one ATM with a Hercules dual-coil @ 1.0 ohms / 3.7v. :vapor: It's nice not to sweat any v-drop for the entire life of the battery, and get a nice, consistent vape

replaced the natural with the magneto

magneto has a 3/32 thick solid stainless steel body lol well over built.

Not trying to start anything but how is the warranty and cust service..

There is none ...
But try running your provari over with a mower and see if it still vapes .....
No warenty but i can go to the hardware store and fix any part of it
The steel is thick enough to park a truck on it and not be dented or warped

im working in the barnet area. we do complete skid rebuilds in house. everything from 3304' n/a to 3616 and 7042 wak's, as well as frame o-hauls. even the odd ball AJAX every once in awhile

nothing like seeing a 6 throw and a 3616 skid come in the yard.

its a fun job for the most part

OK, we know a Provari lost a fight with a mower already, but handle a truck? Bring it on.

I work in oil and gas production
looking for an apv that will take a beating and can take a drop every now and then.

needs to last all day (14 hours shifts).

A REO Grand with 6 ml bottle and 18650 battery will do that, and more. I wouldn't choose a Provari Mini with its little 18350 battery or even the Provari Standard with its 18490 (same size as that in the REO Mini 2.1). The Provaris can accept extra-cost extension caps to accommodate larger batteries, but get a bit ungainly with that and a 6 ml tank.

vv/vw would be cool too.

You can get that with a REO, but IMO, it's overrated.

budget is $100 or under

As does a Provari, a REO costs more than that. Neither are Harbor Freight grade tools.
