AQUA RBA?? No insulator ring

I just recently purchased the AQUA rba and a friend of mine noticed there is no insulator ring around the bottom post. So I returned to the store and asked the associate to view the other AQUA rba's they had in stock and the other ones do not have that insulator ring as well. Is this safe or?

Yep.... that normal for the Aqua. It's in "hybrid mode" without the bottom 510 section attached.

Thanks man....was wondering about that insulator ring not being there. Not sure I like the air holes at the bottom of the tank either. Equilibrium do you have one of these tanks?

How do you like it? I also have a Kayfun in which I love the way it hits.

Meh... it's alright. It gets used but not nearly as much as my kayfun tanks.

I got it to see if it outperformed the KFL+ but it doesn't do it for me.

That's funny, I'm the exact opposite. I have a KFL clone and an authentic Russian 91% and I actually prefer the Aqua to both of them. The flavor is a little under the 91% but the vapor production and airflow is much better in my opinion.

I have to agree with you on the airflow - it is better on the Aqua. I just like my kayfuns better.
