Hello, guys!

I've been trying to understand PI regulator of ArcticFox.

Looking for explanation but they are too complex.

Would you explain it a little bit more simple? What is P and I stands for and form what their values depend?

I appreciate a lot if you provide some working approximate values for SS316L/28ga/7 wraps (spaced)/0.7ohm

Kind Regards

I use the following settings:
316L 30*2/40 6 wrap 2.5mm id coil @0.55 ohms.

Arctic fox details:

Power: 25w (usually 20w in wattage mode)
Preheat time: 1sec
Mode: Temp control
Coil Material: TCR 110
Temperature: 400F

Temp control setup:
PI Regulator: enabled
Range: 0%
P value: 500
I value: 300

that also worked fine when I used 316L 28g round wire, I just dropped the wattage down a bit

Thank you for the replies!

@Mordacai, I followed the first link but the second seems to be broken.
The info is useful. If you dig up more - post it. I look for more too.

@AngeNZ, the settings you provided work fine. I only changed P value to 800. And temperature to 220C.

By now ArcticFox TC with PI regulator performs satisfying and better than wattage mode.
I will improve the customization in time for even greater vape experience.

Many thanks again for your help and care :thumb:

Kind regards :)
