Are copper top caps dangerous?

My understanding is it will react with acidic juices and cause nasty stuff. Will it react with neutral/alkaline juices to a lesser degree or at all? Don't know. Should you avoid it? Again, don't know but probably. How's that for clear as mud :blink:

Not quite.

The copper itself shouldn't react with anything found in the juices.

However........... the copper oxide that forms the patina absolutely will.

You can clean old pennies and make them look shiny and new with lemon juice. You can also clean the patina off your mech and vape it with juice containing citric acid. I wouldn't recommend the latter.
