Are eCigs as Satisfying Over a Beer?

In a word. No.

Not for me anyway. However, with the smoking bans in bars pretty much everywhere in the US and Canada I couldn't smoke with my beer there anyway. (Not to mention there is a smoking ban instituted in my house since the girlfriend moved in!) When friends of mine at the bar go outside for a smoke I'll join em and have a vape. Somehow that seems to do the trick. (Completely off smoking for quite a while now. The longer you go without one the more you get used to it.)

I've personally found the e-cig to be just fine....most of the time. Every once in awhile the urge for an analog hits me pretty hard, but the e-cig is good for those cravings as well. I sometimes find myself vaping away constantly during more intense analog cravings. I just tell myself it's still better than smoking. The other lesson I have learned is to make sure you're well-supplied. I have stumbled and had an analog or three both times I left myself short on cartos. Once was poor planning and the other time was a shipping delay.

I disagree. I like vaping better than smoking - even while drinking. I was recently in a country that still allows smoking in bars - and I had a few analogs just because I could. But, I wanted the e-cig back even though I had a brand new pack sitting next to me. The analog just wasn't as good - and the next day I felt like crap. And trust me - I was a heavy duty smoker. I loved my smoking.

I disagree as well.

At first, I found that when I was drinking was the hardest time to not want the simplicity of a real cigarette.
But over time, I have come to like vaping while drinking far better than I ever did having a cigarette.

I think it takes the right juice, and most people find that a strong tobacco flavor is a good choice.
But it also takes not having any issues with your electronic cigarette, and that is something you can reach eventually.

In my case, switching to dripping was what did it for me.
But for other people that very well may NOT be the case for them.

And of course, as you can see, there are others who still don't get the same satisfaction when drinking.

Not in West Virginia where you can still smoke inside. And believe me, steel mill workers and coal miners smoke ALOT! I don't have to worry about vaping, I get my fill from the plumes of smoke when I open the door to go inside. It may be easier if the state you live in has already made the bars and restaurants no-smoke zones. Just try a much higher dose and a harsher flavored e-juice. Sweet Caroline at 18mg, which is one of my favorites, won't cut it in a smoke filled bar. I use a strong menthol and 30mg Wyatt Earp mix. Good luck to you.

Having been smoking for over 20 years and trying to quit numerous times. I find the hardest challenge is when I am having a few beers with the buddies. Do you guys find that you want an analog when discussing things over a beer or does the eCig do just fine? I think I am going to be putting it to the test later though...

Just for you I am going to send my GF out for some beer so I can test this. The things I do in the name of science!
