Anyone have experience with eleaf? I have read their products are junk. Does this seem to be true?

I ask because I am waiting on my ijust 2 kit to arrive, debating whether I should have just ordered a second kanger subvod/toptank kit. But the battery is higher mah in the ijust and the tank holds more liquid.

"I have read their products are junk."
Can you post a link please?

Personally,
I happily buy Joyetech products...
Innokin...not so much.

caveat emptor

I'm sorry, maybe I should rephrase that... I have heard their products are junk? Just skimming some articles and discussion boards that mention eleaf I see people making broad statements that eleaf products tend to be defective and quit working soon after purchase. No particular link to give you.

I haven't had any problems with any eleaf batteries. The button on one of my 50W's did get all wonky, but it took like 8 months to do that. I've never used one of their tanks though. The ijust tank does look nice. The only thing I don't like in that package is the battery apparently isn't variable wattage or voltage and just pumps out whatever the current charge is, so the fuller the charge, the more power. Which to me seems weird, I'd want to try the tank on a normal battery though. Correct me if I'm wrong about the battery though.

No I believe you are correct, the battery output gradually diminishes I believe and it is not vv/vw. My subvod battery is not vv/vw either but it has a fixed output of 3.7v through the battery life, which I like. However the subvod battery is only 1300mah and does not get me through the day and I need a backup and decided to try the ijust 2 rather than get another subvod kit. The ijust 2 battery is 2600mah I believe. We shall see, it comes tomorrow.

I have is ticks that have far outlasted Cool Fire 4s.

Junk is a relative term. Low end product is what you are looking for. Eleaf opened up a new market when they launched the istick 20w. An affordable mod. Where was Innokin, Weismec, Aspire and all the other names you know? Where they had product it was far more expensive. Or there were in unregulated mods.

So Eleaf sells a low end product at a lower cost.

So tell me how a Corolla is junk compared to a Mercedes S Class.

I have an eLeaf iStick 30 and an iStick 40TC. They are inexpensive and have both worked fine for 3 months or so.

Not they best quality mods by any stretch but great to start out on or have as a backup.

I would never buy another iStick as I believe there are better products on the market for similar prices (Reuleaux RX200 and Kanger KBox come to mind), but I have been happy with both of mine.

Yup , they are very cheap and thats a HUGE reason they sell so well , nobody cares that Eleaf refuses to warrant them since they are priced so low .

You are 100% correct that many mods of much better quality are around the same price range now and will last much much longer , not always easy to find though.

I don't think much of Kanger's mods either , Kanger has tons of experience with tanks and their tanks are top notch but their mods , no thanks.

I think the KBox Mini is a great mod.

I will say that being an early adopter of Kanger mods isn't a smart idea. Their initial releases are almost always full of issues. If you wait, they seem to stabilize into solid products.

This is only relevant if this opinion is based on actual first-hand experience. I've seen this same opinion posted many times and am starting to think it is wandering into the urban legend/myth status..

I bought an iJust 2 kit to start with. I didn't care for it. It wasn't a bad product, I just didn't like it. I have a TC60W I've been using for about four months with no problems. I used kanthal and Ni200 coils in the Melo 2 tank and they both worked great. I never tried titanium. The TC60W is very simple to use. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have a whole slew of isticks. Recently (like 4 days ago?), the 50W I ran over with the tractor died quietly in her sleep. She was 13 months old.

Still doing great:
17 month old 20W
2 other istick 50Ws two weeks younger than the dead one (though not used much the past few months compared to my other mods)
6 istick 100Ws.
