Are LR Attys a crapshoot?

I recently got an EGO and I love it. I also love the LR 510 attys...but since I am new to atomizers I am curious about something. I bought two LR attys with my ego. The first one was working great (always kept wet) and then after about 4 days "poof" it was dead. Now the second one has been going strong for nearly two weeks. I have tried to be extra careful with this one. I blow it out every couple days. Also have soaked it in alcohol to clean. So tell me am I just getting lucky or am I actually doing something right with this one? Granted I didn't clean the first one but Man only four days and then history! I know LR attys are not supposed to last as long as a reg atty so maybe it's just par for the course. What's the average life cycle on a LR atty if maintained properly?

I find some LR dont last long at all. I started using eastmall.net s LR EM510s and they last a long time. I don't use anything else now. Their attys IMHO are by far superior to others out there and their resistance is about 1.7 to 1.8.

The 1.5sw didnt last me but a couple of days and sometimes just hours.

Hey! I have used LR attys on 510's 901's 801's (I Like best) and I have learned a few tricks. Yes I have lost a few but I know why. I am vaping a Rubicon 3.7 and before the LRs got plentiful I just used the regular 3.5 ohm ones. I had to take a primer puff and then several short ones with an inhale in between to get the sweet vape I craved. Using an LR like this makes it get too hot too fast! And poof! So......learning from my mistakes, I soon learned that first of all the primer puff was a waste with the LRs. So no more primer puffs! Then I learned to take shorter and lighter puffs and release the switch in between while I inhaled thus giving the atty a second to cool. My total button down time with an LR 801 is less than 4 seconds total! Big vapor and little light puffs. This works for me and I am getting roughly 4 to 6 weeks out of 801 Bauway Lrs now! I also stopped Dripping altogether because Lrs burn juice so fast. I use a cart loaded and drip 4 drops when they get light or the slightest burnt taste. (This is important) As far as cleaning? What's that? I only clean attys when they taste bad even when cool which is rare for me because I am a vapor head! My attys hate me! Hope this helps!

yes kg, eastmall.net / they are in china and have a 17.00 flat rate shipping. So to make it cost worthy you would need to order 10-20 imo. but at 3 bucks each you cant go wrong.

there is a us supplier that sells eastmall attys but I cant remember who. Someone will chime in, i am sure.
they cost a little more from the US site.

Ordered 20 Eastmall LR atty's @ $3.

The first one went out today after 24 days. Checked the juice and the cart was bone dry ! Don't know how I let that happen !

But 24 days ain't too bad.

Use with an eGo, and NEVER clean my atty's.

I'm still using one I got when I started vaping 3+ weeks ago. Considering I didn't know what I was doing, it's stood up well to my abuse. These are without a doubt in my mind the best LR attys out there.

If you can afford to make a large order, then buying them direct from Eastmall is worth it, but their $15 shipping charge is a killer if you can only afford a pack or two.

I appreciate all the input folks. I may try the one's at madvapes (or vaporjunction) next go around. At this point money a bit tight so eastmall (though a good deal) is a bit pricey to take advantage of it. I did just order some Janty's from FSUSA which I never new they carried. I think they just started selling them. Hey I'd be happy if one LR atty lasted me two weeks. It's hard to complain about price considering how much a pack of smokes go for these days.

Just my experience i ordered an LR form madvapes went dead in 3 days... I then ordered 10 from Eastmall and some drip tips. 6 days from the time i ordered to my door iam going on week 2 of my 1st LR atty from them. WAY better quality

anybody know the US supplier who sells the same Eastmall attys? I'd like to maybe buy one or two. To really take advantage of the deal with Eastmall it behooves you to order a big supply.

Correct. Unfortunately shipping is like $17.00 so it's only a good deal if you spend a good amount of money. Somebody mentioned the same attys are sold by someone in the US. I "gots to know" who that supplier is?
