Are mini protank 2 coils compatible with mini protank 3 and vice-versa?

Are mini protank 2 coils compatible with mini protank 3, and vice-versa? I don't think so, but I want to be sure.

2 coils are not compatible with the 3. 2 are single and 3 are dual coils.
