wanted to know if anyone came across a issue with companies that protect.
there a lot of mods on the net. and some people sell mods also. which is why.

I can not see why they would not be legal--but if one causes you harm as a consumer using it, then the maker/seller has some real issues with product liability---If that is what you are concerned about---Sun

Walter--that is an issue--no matter if they say it or not--if someone is in the business of making Mods and sells one that hurts the consumer--they are open to a products liability suit by the buyer----Sun

Sun this is very interesting.... so would this extend to suppliers lets say if a battery charger was to burn down you house say would the supplier be liable?

If it can be shown that the charger was manufactured in a manner that it was defective and that the consumer did not use it in any other manner then it was intended to be used---then the Seller and the Manufactuer are both liable for any damages that are reasonably forseable -------Sun

SO i would guess then it would be in the suppliers best interest to have some control over the quality of the products they sell.
