I posted the question in the CPF Marketplace forum. Because I am new there, my post is in a "moderation queue"....and will not show up until someone validates that it is not spam. Evidently they do this with the first couple of posts when someone is new. I'll check back here when the post goes through and I get a response.

I received a reply to my email from the vendor:

" Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our supplier has assured us that the AW batteries are in fact genuine but if you are not happy with the products and they are unused we will be happy to refund you the cost of the products (not shipping fee)."

I'm at work atm so I don't have enough time to send a detailed reply, but I will be refuting his supplier's claim that they are genuine...

Do you all think that it is reasonable that he insists that they are unused? I've been using them for two weeks (I bought them to use them, not sit in its bubble wrap)

The bottom line is that they are fake. They should give you a refund used or not.

Here is the response I got from Andrew Wan on his CPF MarketPlace dealer thread - regarding what vendors are authorized to sell AW batteries:

Too many to list here ( list is changing almost daily with growing vendors). Don't want to omit any.You can simply ask and I 'll confirm whether a particular vendor is an authorized AW reseller.

Here is a few long term AW dealers:

    Lighthound
    RTD Vapor
    Super T
    Oveready
    Wonderlite
    VaperKings
    Vape Revolution
    ProVape
    Volcano
    Vaper Venue
    Vape City
    Vape Citi
    Unique Cigs
    Tasty Vapor
    Northridevapes
    Patinum Vapes
    House of Vapor
    AltSmoke
    Vaporholic
    Avid Vaper
    Dragonflyecigs

    ......and more

Yes - thank you! I've only bought batteries from ProVape and RTD, and don't see any reason to buy them elsewhere.
