Ive read somewhere that a brand new cart wicks better than one that has been used for awhile.Id doesnt seem that it would matter, but you never know.

Yea, the polyfill gets a little crusty on top, and I also believe that the juice thickens from the heat and reduces the wicking capacity of the poly. You can just wash the poly and reuse it. I like the way carts work when new, after a few top offs I do the highping mod. Then after a couple fills I go to tea bags or silica(fiberglass) filler.

I just meant the cart in general.Whenever I get new carts I pull the poly out and use blue foam.Is there anything about the cart itself that goes down hill after long use? Thanks for the reply though.

No.

I generally blank them after 5 fills, soak in isopropil alcohol, shake out, let dry, and replace the fill.

I have 40 or so of them and they are totally reusable. I usually keep ten filled and ready at any time.

A note on replacing the polyfill- looser pack works better than tighter... very loose for thick liquids.

hemp cord?Tell me more... please.

You can get the stuff at Michaels art supplies, I even found some at the Dollar Tree. Basically, soak the cord in water over night, wringing the water out of the cord a couple times. you then unwind the three strands of the 40# cord(or start with the single strand). Cut the cord in pieces that are the length of the inside of the cart when doubled over. You need two or three peices depending on the thickness of your juice. I found it was better to wet the cord pieces w/ a little VG first, then insert loop end first into the cart. Filll cart w/ juice and vape. Works OK for a few days, but then gets a little gunked up and doesn't wick as well. Still works better than poly. But to be honest, fiberglass cloth works much better. I can top off carts w/ 8-12 drops every single time.
