I believe they're a newer version of the PD
They're recommended frequently and I've yet to see anything negative about them. (except maybe the 10A max when using in a mech)
2 for 20 is a good price. Make sure it's a reputable vendor.

I just got a pair of the PDs and am loving them. SO far I am only putting them in my vamo. Are they ok in a mech when you never go below 1.2 ohms? I know by the numbers 10 Amps is plenty but I am wondering about the reality as opposed to the calculations.
Excellent batteries as long as you do not plan to use them in a sub-ohm application less than 0.8 ohms.
I haven't seen any testing on those batteries, but so far, so good. I've been running them on a sigelei Silver Dragon with a 1.2 ohm dual-coil Scar on top, and they definitely seem to have more "oomph" than the AW IMR's I have.
I just pre-ordered some of the Sony 30A rated 18650's, can't wait to see what those can do...
awesome, just wish i hadnt made a dumb decision the other night and ordered a pair of surefires with a charger, thought ooo good deal, and a batt is a batt is a batt... then i read something about how unsafe they are...

They are great batteries, mine are 3 months old and kicking like the first day I bought them.
I use the pd and it's a decent one, running on 0.7 ohm with no heat on it at all
trustfire ultrafire or whateverfire, my advise is toss them asap!!

the PF is is a slightly reformulated PD
supposedly a few 100 more mah a more linear discharge and runs slightly cooler under high loads

I was checking it out and found out that the PD and PF seems to be a couple mm shorter than the CGR.
It looks like they may be getting a little more efficient with packing more mAh into a smaller area.
I love my CGRs ...I believe that I will pick up a couple of these for my arsenal

I read the posts on batteries and decided to get the Panasonic NCR18650PF's. Great choice!! The first day they only lasted about 6 hours, the second charge cycle they went all day, and after a few charge cycles, I'm getting almost two days. I use them in both my SVD and my Vamo v5. Gonna use 'em in the VTR that's on the way. I love my pf's!!
Don't put them in a high performance flashlight, Ultrafire and Trustfire have ruined a couple of high dollar flashlights of mine.
Panasonic batts are the only ones I trust in my lasers and mods. The hybrids are great I got two flat head ones from orbtronic for like 18 bucks.
Ultrafires are ultra s**tty. The tomo I have does alright. But with the two IMR and the 3100 mah green panny pfffft I don't need the tomo anymore.

0.6ohm should be fine too, i wouldn't go any lower tho because at 0.4ohm it drains 10.5A which could happen if the coil moved or something.
