Are pre-filled carts the staple for most people?

Just wondering, I know most of you use liquids, but are pre-filled carts still a staple item for most people? In other words, even if you have liquid, do you still rely on pre-filled carts for daily use as your standard vape juice?

Or do most experienced users just use empty/recycled carts + liquid and not bother with pre-filled carts?

I certainly don't. I'm not a fan of filled carts at all. They never have the right amount of juice in them and the flavors never seem quite right.
I'm sure some people stick to them out of convenience, but my guess is not many.

I rarely order any carts that are prefilled. I use liquid and refill blanks, for the most part.

I will use Janty prefilled cartridges, though.

I got a good deal back in January on 100 pre-filled carts. I use them and refill them and when the stuffing starts to get frayed I toss them. I still have 60 or so left.

This is only my 3rd day of vaping but I'm done with pre-filled carts. I've got a couple of carts that came with my pen-style e-cig that I've washed and filled with some flavored juice. I'm in vaping heaven now. My brother only uses pre-filled carts, but he's even lazier than I am.

Not here. I got 5 with my pipe, but I refill them myself (and restuff them when the padding gets singed and discoloured.) Bought another 10 unfilled just to have some spares, but won't actually need them until I have more than 5 flavours on the go simultaneously. I can't see why they won't last forever.

I'm with Houdini, I use em till they fray and toss em in a drawer. Still looking for something to replace the floss... Tried tea bags and coffee filters... Guess I'll get some fish tank floss next time I think about it. I top off throughout the day.

Pre-filled carts are too expensive and don't taste great in general. I use liquid, period.

The only time I've bought pre-filled carts outside of what came with a kit was when I wanted some Dura-C blanks and Janty only had pre-filled. If the price difference was slight and I wanted some extra carts, I would buy some pre-filled if there was a flavor I just wanted to try.

I'm still refilling the carts that came with my first kit with a good tasty juice. I didn't like the taste of the carts much (i get the feeling they were filled with pretty ropey 'economy' juice) and I can't see myself buying any more pre-filled carts. They always seem pretty leaky too...thin juice?

i refill carts with liquid. Way more cost effective and the refill liquids are generally better

I will only buy carts from a select few places though... being the only places I have found that have good and reliable carts (with also good filling so they can be smoked pretty much all the way empty).

If you want to try and re-stuff your carts with fish filter. I suggest going into a pet store and asking them for a small piece of it to try before you buy it. (they have store rooms full of this stuff to use in their own fish tanks....they will not mind giving you a small piece). I know, I am a manager at one of the bigger named ones.

about fifty fifty between carts and juice. I mostly drip at home and use carts down the pub. Don't wanna be spraying juice around in low-light / low sobriety conditions...

Dietsmokes has good blanks for the 901 and they're not too expensive (60 cents). I've been getting 7 or 8 refills out of each one before the filling starts to wear out. Their shipping is pretty quick too.

Right now I'm using a combination. That's because I got my vapes from e Smokey Treats, and I LOVED the flavor of the cartridges that came with them. Phil said he's switching over so the eSmokey Juice will be from the same manufacturer. Once I can get that flavor, I'll probably go with blanks.

I tried e-Liquid Planet and don't recommend them. Their coffee flavor is not bad, but it doesn't taste like coffee. The chocolate and watermelon, which are the other two I tried, have no flavor at all.

Today I got vanilla cartridges and vanilla eSmokeyTreats juice from Phil. They're good. I also got the strawberry. They're nicely sweet, but I can't say I taste any strawberry. Anyone found any fruit flavors that taste like fruit? Anyone have other suggestions on juice suppliers? Johnson Creek is expensive. Is it worth it?

I personally don't understand how anyone can vape without juice. No wonder their atomizers dry up.

As for the filament, go to a fabric store and get some of the stuffing fiber used to make home-made stuffed animals. Shred little bits of it off. That's what the wicks feel like to me -- polyfill stuffing fibers. With the small amount you'll need for a cartridge, one bag would last several heavy vapers their entire lives. I imagine there's nothing toxic in the stuffing since it's used to make things for little kids.

I buy blanks and fill em myself. The only pre-filled I ever got came with the kit.
