801's are bigger batteries, bigger atomizers and bigger cartridges so they last longer than 901's. That's why they are different size charger.

Err, Ahh, Last night my neighbor came up for a vape fest (mixing up lots of new DIY flavors) and her battery gave out. CAREFULLY inserting the 901 battery into the 801 charger, it did screw in enough to charge.

It DOES NOT fit, but you can get it to work, BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BUGGER THE THREADS. EASY does it.
