What makes you doubtful about those Sony batteries authenticity?

Some of my Sony VTC series batteries came with the same sticker that you have stating capacity, nominal voltage and size.
This is done due to the fact that those batteries were never meant to be directly sold to consumers and lack the labeling of a consumer battery. Hence the sticker taking care of that.

I always use trusted vendors when buying batteries. Trusting an anonymous ebay or amazon seller is a gamble and batteries are the most important part to get right.

I fail to see the wisdom/logic of buying powerful batteries that are going to be right up against my face from unknown vendors that may be just re-wrapping any old battery they have laying around.

Where did you get them (an ECF registered vendor or from ebay/amazon/alibaba)? Do they perform as expected?

Purchased on Ebay from genuinecells.com. I think they are legit and they are performing well. Just got a little paranoid. They do have serial numbers "underneath" the wrapping on the backside. Thank you.

The printing on my Sony cells is quite faint under the wrapper also.
I have not seen counterfeit Sony cells yet but due to the popularity of them, I would not be surprised to find some out there.

I am pretty leery of ebay battery purchases however as I bought some fake AW cells a few months ago and didn't realize it for quite a while.

For my peace of mind, I buy from reputable sellers now such as RTD vapor. This way I know what I think I am buying is going to turn out to be what I want. My own pease of mind/confidence in my batteries is worth a couple of dollars to me.

Good to hear that WharfRatYellowBaloon.

They are a new company. 113 sales on Ebay with all positive feedback is a good start, though it's not a reputation yet.

Personally, for vape batteries I use Illumination Supply, RTD Vapor or a couple of local shops that have been around a while and I know.
