Are these cartos essentially the same?

This carto has been my hands down favorite...so far. 510 Dual Coil Stainless Mega Cartomizer

I know these are a bit smaller, which is fine. What I'm really after is a clone to the above carto, but black like these: MadVapes 510 Dual Coil Black Cartomizer

I have a IPro coming in black and brass. I'd prefer a black matching carto, that I can stick a gold drip tip on to keep it cool looking. A little shorter is nice as well since the IPro is almost 5 inches long by itself.

If anyone has tried both, what are your thoughts? I do see that the stainless got better reviews FWIW.

Does anyone know if these are made by the same manufacturer?

The stainless ones you have a link to are bigger, about 801 size. The black ones are regular size but longer like a mega carto. The label on the black ones make them a little too wide for an ego cone unless you put the cone on after the carto is screwed in.

All the dual coils we have come from smok Tech but seems the bigger around they are the better vapor they produce. But the regular size ones work great also.

I've tried the XL Smoketech's in clear, and yes they are a nice carto. So the black in the same size would vape the same.

Think I'll stick with the wider diameter stainless. Interesting regarding how the diameter affects the performance. I mostly use 100% VG, so I've found the regular 510 diameters tend to go to a stiffer draw pretty quickly, while the EMDCC's are a bit to airy for my likes, and rather than get a very stiff draw, just tail off in performance. The "middle size" works just right with that thick ole Boba's Bounty juice.
