I mean, I never recommend making purchases on eBay for vape stuff (both since it's technically against the rules, and because you don't know if your seller is trying to pull a fast one..)

But yes, I've seen the STM price go down a bit recently. Lowest I've seen is like 30 bucks though, so idk.

Caveat emptor.

When it comes to buying online, especially eBay, live by this rule: 'If you like your face, online is not the place'
Try to stick with local, especially with batteries.
Vape on!
I've bought a lot of tanks and hardware from eBay without issue

Batteries your right they need to be dealt with differently

I've always enjoyed ebay and continue to use only sellers with 5 star feedback

You have better luck with batteries buying from trusted online vendors than a b&m because you don't know who their source is.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
As far as batteries are concerned E bay should be avoided at all costs as over 80% of batteries on their are counterfeits .

The problem is the vendors show pics of legit batteries to get people to buy , very sneaky and the counterfeits (many of them) are extremely difficult to distinguish from the real deal.

Cost should tip you off , considerably cheaper avoid lol.

Kanger Subtank Mini NIB Scratch & Check Authentication FAST FREE SHIPPING

They say scratch and verify but has anyone bought from people with such huge discounts?
Is it worth the time and money or should I spend the 15 bucks more from a real store?
If you look closely at the pic you'll see it's the Subtank Mini version 1, V2 has larger wick holes in the rba and an improved air flow. It doesn't say authentic anywhere in the description, and many clones will have a scratch card with a code that doesn't work. I would spend the extra dollars and get a real one. VapeSuperSaver, SweetVapes, MyVaporStore, MountBakerVaper, OriginVapes, would be decent places to check.

Tecmo uses e-bay to sell their wire, they have great quality Kanthal & Nickel wire. I buy batteries from Wake & Vape and RTDVapor, both carry authentic batteries and are trustworthy retailers. Mods generally will cost 2 times as much in a B&M store as they do online, but at least you get it right away and have a place to walk into if there is a problem I guess. Generally speaking, insanely cheap things should at least be viewed with some suspicion. If it claims to be authentic and is dirt cheap, be very careful! There are some dirt cheap clones of products out there, some are good, some are not. It's an overwhelming amount of things to look at, a lot of reading, and some wasted money, but that is half the fun I suppose. :)
