Those batteries are not protected, normally they would list protection as a feature and these do not, also their warnings indicate that a protection circuit is needed to use them in a pack which would indicate that they do not have a built in protection circuit. I would also not necessarily trust the 10C rating as I have not seen Li-Ion sells with that much capacity before.

High drain batts do have a different chemistry and will not explode when they vent so they do not need a protection circuit, both high drain and protected batteries can be dangerous in the right circumstance tho, a protection circuit can fail and if a high drain vents into an unvented mod it can cause a dangerous pressure build up.

Personally I never saw the reason to go with anything other than aw imr batteries as they have proven to be the best performers and are only about 10 bucks a piece.
