are we all ex smokers?

you know what I was a heavy smoker now I am a heavier vapor
did I trade 1 addiction for another YES
but I know I went through some withdrawal in the process that means I was addicted to more then just nicotine that's the first plus
secondly I used to cough up so much phlegm in the end I couldn't breath well
that's all gone now
3rd I gained so much weight in a previous attempt to quit smoking that I am now losing
4th when I'm ready I can lower my nicotine level and if I need to or decide to I'm sure the patch would actually work better now that I cut off 4000 chemicals

I was at a B&M the other day and there was a kid considering buying a unit. The sales guy kept on hinting, and finally asked to see ID. It was the day after the kid's 16th birthday. So as they're trying to figure out what would be best for the young guy as a cigarette replacement, his comments reminded me of the "bags of sand" from 30 Yr Old Virgin.
My state doesn't have a vaping age restriction, but the shops go with 18. I think a few sell zero nicotine to 16+. I think I started smoking when I was around 14. Ex-smoker.

Yeah ive never smoked cigarettes before i just started vaping to look cool and impress the ladies

JK.. Im an ex smoker for about a month and half now.. i know its not too long but havent picked up a cig and been vaping ever since. Wont be going back to cigs ever! VAPE LIFE!

I was a smoker. A casual one at the time I started vaping. Vaping took me to a whole nother level of addiction that I never had before. LolLike the title said are we all ex smokers or are there vapers that never smoked
edit: i was wondering this because i saw something in the news the other day about kids buying ecigs with 0mg nic to look cool . And when i say kids i mean 12-16 years old
15 year PAD/1.5 PAD smoker--just turned 30. Tobacco free for 94 days, today. I personally know 1 vaper who has never smoked--oral fixation.
I've actually been wondering the same thing as the OP--I've kinda been under the assumption that most of the members here are ex-smokers. It'd be interesting to take a poll to get an idea of wgat the breakdown is.

There are vapers who never smoked. I'm still a bit torn on underage vaping. One the one hand, I feel like e-liquid shouldn't be sold to or used by anyone under 18, but on the other hand, my main problem with that is addiction. I don't want anyone to be an addict no matter how old they are. But if they weren't vaping, they'd be smoking, and if I had to choose one, I think you all know what I'd prefer they do.
