I've vaped all three (not mine). I think they're all excellent. I had to include them in a quick list. But the builds are also much more difficult than a kayfun-type rta. I am a lazy vaper. Give me something easy and quick to master. My credo is usually simple is better; less is more. I won't do busy builds for myself. I also don't like over-engineered equipment. I sold my KF4 clone because it was too busy for me. I'm not getting into an Origen, especially when I'm tickled-to-death with what I have. But I am very glad there are scholars like yourself to keep us all in line and the art alive. Cheers! :)
I am glad to hear you have tried them all. I do believe that people should try a proper mesh build in an Origen to experience what flavor is really all about. The builds do require more work than the Kayfun's do, but its a part of vaping that I thoroughly enjoy. While everyone is moving towards sub tanks and coil heads, I seem to be going backwards with vaping gear. I was recently sent a Satburn 22 from a very generous ECF'er, it is an impressive little genesis style atty with a unique shape.

It is great that we all have different styles of vaping and different gear to vape on. Thanks to ECF I can explore all the different device choices, gathering information from a very knowledgeable and extremely helpful community.

If I hadn't joined here I might still be using the Nautilus mini , or possibly have gone back to smokes.

That sounds so like me. :D Yet another thing I'm loving about the Achilles... TOP FILLING! None of that vacuum-sealed business; it may hold 2-2.5ml, but it's still an RDA! so I don't have to worry about trashing the 510 threads with all the putting on and taking off, and I don't have to fiddle with itty bitty screws either! YAY!

Evening fellow Tootle Puffers, I need some suggestions.

Parameters: Single coil RTA's, Cost: NA, size: 22-23mm, Airflow: MTL but a bit open.

I have a Russian 91%V2 and a KFL+ that I like quite a bit.

Thanks,
Boden
It's a bit small at 18mm (same diameter as a Protank and its Ego beauty rings) but I really love my Big Buddha mini tank, single coil with dual air flow control holes.

I guess I'm just too lazy. I have 3 or 4 Nautilus's and just screw in a new coil when I need one. I had a friend send me about 25 boxes of coils so I won't run out soon. Plus I get so much time out of a coil it's going to be awhile.

Yours are a lot prettier than mine :)

I thank you. I think in life, and in my book, Life Lessons Via Vaping, that's the way it's "supposed" to be. ;)

Mr. Dragon!!! I liked your post right up to the last line. Honey pie, the Naughty Minis are delightful for some of us. I wouldn't trade mine in at this point. Be nice, or I'll have to ask you to give up your wrist band.

  • Squape Reloaded is stupid easy to build, but if you get a clone, it could be a challenge to get it up and running.
  • Taifun GT-V2 is one that's been recommended to me over and over again (been holding out cuz all my mods are 22mm).
  • Out of the old KFs, I hear v3.1 had the best airflow. KFL+ V2 had that adjustable airflow screw thing at the bottom (some people leave the screw off for extra air, I have mine pretty tight). Dunno about V4, but not willing to get an atty that has 40 parts to find out.
  • I'm about to receive a Tobeco Aqua V2 tomorrow. It can take single coil builds, but it's natively a dual coil atty, just like the Orchid, which also has good airflow. With these two, just a matter of plugging one of the airholes and a couple of the wick channels (or you can do split wicks).

I love my gennies, but still haven't gotten into mesh. (have waaay too much rayon to use up first  ) I rewick pretty often and hate that they pretty much have to be taken apart to wick them correctly. My favorite one is the BF-99.

That's why I didn't recommend them. PITA to rewick (or alternatively you'd have to play with mesh) and draw's pretty tight. Boden had asked for something a little airier.

I highly recommend the Erlkonigin or Lemo 2. The Erlk sits at just under 21mm in stock trim. The Lemo 2 is 22m. I'm hoping for a Lemo 2 drop.

Many like the FEV 3, Rose 2 and Gennies. I guess it depends on how much rebuilding you wanna do.

Good luck!

Another vote for the GSAir - specifically the GS Air"M". I put away a LOT of tanks when I bought 8 of these little beauties. Fantastic flavor, coils last a very long time, and the tank is so inexpensive it is almost a no-brainer! Works like a dream for a lot of us.;)

@Nanny22 I looked at them but I thought I would struggle with the dual coils. Do they do a single coil.

Krisma, if you want to rebuild, you can rebuild to single coil with no problem at all. Several of the "Airheads" rebuild their coils. I am saving my spent coils for that purpose, but right now, they are so inexpensive, all I have done is replace with a new one. Unlike the Nautilus, etc. the Air coils have minimal wait time for juice to absorb, no real "new coil" break in or off taste, and I have had them last over three weeks + each. I've never had a dry burnt hit, either - being a true Tootle Puffer I just MtoL, under 10 Watts using the current 1.5 Ohm coils. So easy, I don't even think about anything but which juices I want for the day.

Thank you for that. I won a little one (gs air) and have coils just haven't got around to trying it.

You want me to join another thread. It's hard enough to keep up as it is. :p

after a really long weekend I was trying to get caught up on here when the call came in that my uncle has passed away...apparently getting caught up on ECF is just not a part of the plan...I hope everyone is having a great day and the week goes better than it has started...
