Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

I put a clean coil in there in the morning, and by afternoon, I'm having trouble with it and have to change out for a new one. I'm cleaning and dry burning my coils and wicks right now, so it's no big deal, but if I was having to buy these things at the rate I'm going through them, we could never afford it. It would end up being more expensive than the smokes were.
That is why I moved away from the BDC/BVC coils and devices.

BDC is Bottom Dual Coil? I have a single coil. So I have a BSC? Rich has a BVC in the Aspires, and they're working great. He hasn't had to change a coil yet! I don't know why, but he's still on the originals. Me, I'm cleaning, soaking, and dry burning 5 or 6 every second or third day it seems.

Edit: Not all for the same tank! LOL! I have several going with different flavors in them.

Yep BSC's single coils appear to have a narrower green zone than the BDC's do.
Lannie, you can rewick without recoiling. And the flavor wick may be what is causing you problems they seem to be destined to just give a burned flavor in a couple of days.
Use cotton. Pull out the old silica gently a bit at a time and slip in some cotton, trim the ends and VAPE! well after allowing time for the new wick to soak up some juice.

I saved that chart somewhere before, but couldn't find it today... thanks for reposting it, however, is there something wrong with it? Everyone's talking about 8 and 9 watts (or Rich with 13), and those are mostly (the 9s and above) in the red "too HOT" zone. And Robert thinks the safe (green) zone should be even narrower? I feel like I'm missing something. If it's something stupidly simple, just tell me to ask Rich. I'm sure he'll explain it to me, and I hate wasting your time 'splaining stuff that should be painfully obvious.

I don't (yet) want to get into building coils and all that, I just want to find a good combination of store-bought coils and a battery. I think, after reading what Linda said, that maybe I just need slightly bigger airholes. It could be THAT simple! This thing has a pretty tight draw on it, but since it's so close to the stinkies, I never really gave it any thought. Rich told me more air would probably make the flavors taste a bit better, PLUS not gunk my coils up so fast. Right now, this strawberry juice I made, which I'm using constantly right now, gunks my coil up in much less than a day. The brownie stuff does the same thing, but it's dark, so I'd expect it from that, but the strawberry is almost clear. I put a clean coil in there in the morning, and by afternoon, I'm having trouble with it and have to change out for a new one. Rich has a 1/16" drill bit, so I guess that will be the first thing we try. I just hope it works and I don't end up screwing up a perfectly good tank base. Well, if it does, I'm sure someone sells those, right?

That chart is 5 years old and was for cartomizers. It's the only one I have that is relevant to the airflow and coil type you are using.

lannie I do recoil my Kanger BSC heads, but only when they need it I keep on rewickiing them for many times. I bought a 45 ft box of Salon Coil Cotton at Sally Beauty supply for about $3 and it should last me 3 years or so. I just cut off about 2-3 inches and seperate out a bit abd twist/roll it as show in the pic. Get a nice point on one end. trim off any long little fuzz on the pointy end and it ewill feed thru better, twist gently as you feed it thru you should feel a slight resistance but not jerk the coil sideways. Then trim the ends put the stem and boot back on and use. When rewicking I just remove old wick rinse in warm tapwater and rewick. After you do it a few times it is a breeze.

And if you can do needlework or anything like that you can recoil too, search youtube vids for recoiling evod/protank.

Lannie, they do sell EVOD bases. Just Google it and you'll see quite a few sites come up. But I would just use the link Robert posted a couple of days ago and get a brand new EVOD for $1.50. That's about what you'd pay for a new base. Here is that link again:

Kanger EVOD Bottom Coil Changeable Cartomizer – ElectronicStix.Com

Those come with a 1.8 ohm coil, which you might like a lot better.

When I first started using the kanger subtank mini I was using the OCC heads that came with it and the first one I got 20 tanks out of it before having to change it. Figuring 4 ml per tank, that was 80 ml of juice I vaped thru it and I was vaping it at 20 watts. Then one night I was working on a helicopter, reached for my vape, took a draw on it and gagged. Nothing but the horrible taste of turbine fuel. The subtank got itself a full soapy bath and a brand new coil that night.
To get the flavor that lannie wants, she is gonna have to get something better than a protank. I rebuilt many of those coils many different ways and they are only capable of producing only so much. I would suggest a subtank nano or mini that you can replace the coils in, or build your own with the RBA deck that comes with the mini.

Me wants one! :p

Its a one of a kind. :p I love this wood and have been secretly envious of all the squonk boxes. I realised that I loved the box not the method of vaping so I decided to make (well get hubby) to make me one. I had a third planned which is a browner piece if wood but I think I will stop for a while at this one. It's just stunning in natural light and hard to capture the depth in a photo.

Today we finished my second mod and I am in awe of it. I still can't decide which tank looks good so today's tootle puffing device is a DIY box mod in stabilised olive.

Very very nice! Is it regulated?
